Base Omega Update v3.43:
- Fixed the font corruption issue with the firmware updater.

Definitive Edition release v1.00:
- Disabled firmware updater, ROM is too big. Sorry everyone. ;(

First I would like to thank Sterophonik for the great work with the custom kernel.

But I am having trouble enabling the backup feature. How do I do it?
Another problem: I can't seem to make the option to return to menu from a game work.

Sorry if those are stupid questions...

It depends on the variant of EZ-Flash Omega you have. If you have the base variant then it is in the menu that appears when pressing SELECT in the SD menu. If you have the definitive edition, it is in the second options tab.

As for return to menu, try turning off the fast patch engine. That should help.

THANKS! I just read the manual and got all of these options working. Seriously, what you did with this kernel and with your constant support in this forum is nothing short of sublime.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart. You made the EZ Flash 100% better.

hello
ive just installed the firmware, i would ask you what are the best settings to choose to play the extra emulators at normal speed please?
i have not tested all of them but pc engine games are slow and neo geo pocket too.

also i tryed the zx80 emulator, it is unuseable, there is a very long intro with a music before the game launches, when i uncheck the "play intro" option it is useless since when you reboot ur gba to change the game the option comes back and we have to wait an other time the long intro. or maybe there is something to do that i not aware of?

finally 3rd question, is there a way to not have the save last game message , each time i reboot the gba?
thanks :D

Sadly, emulation on the GBA hasn’t had much support. The saving settings issue is normal, as well as slow or choppy gameplay. Goomba is the best and most stable emulator, but even that has its flaws. This cfw doesn’t have control over the emulation conditions, it simply links the correct file formats to the appropriate emulator.

but to answer your third question, that popup seems to always be there. I’ve selected the “auto” option for the saving and that message is gone, automatically, in about 3 seconds.
