Hi there!
I kind of have an issue with converting certain ps1/psx games to eboots, I've tried changing the compression level and re-downloading the bin files but when it comes to a handful of games they end up showing as corrupted. (Could this be an issue with translation patches? Even though some of them worked for me).
I'm on Mac and I use iPoPs since it's the only tool thats worked with me in the past on mac at least (I've also tried PSX2PSP on windows but both don't work).
Any help would be appreciated!

From personal Experiences,I always avoided Compression.
Mostly because of Sound Issues.:(
I have tried some Games with Compression Level 1 or 2 but not more.(PSX2PSP v1.4.2 for Windows).

Thank you.:)

Thanks for the reply! I've actually tried it without compression as well and I agree sound can get really bad the higher you go.
But some games just straight up show as corrupted on the psp and I can't figure out why.

Good Morning. 1tee.gif

I did use a Memory Stick to microSD Adapter on my psp does that matter? It doesn't effect the other games I converted.
No,but maybe causes the Corruption.
Can you please tell us the Size from the microSD Card(s) ? Is it maybe a Dual Slot Adapter ?
Maybe a Picture please ?

Thank you.:)

Never heard of such a thing! :O
Some psx eboots work for you, while others result corrupted...Usually those turn out like this when run with ofw, not with cfw ...
Eboots, if converted correctly, in the worst case should stop in front of the sony logo; then with PopsLoader you should try the various versions of Pops (psx internal emulator) to see if any of them works.
Can we please know the psx titles that give you the issue? :)

Yeah each game seems to be different. Sometimes I can download a premade eBoot and its fine, but often I have to make them myself. Seems like certain games are just fussy. Which are not working for you?

Having converted ps1 eboots not working could merely be a compatibility issue, should try those with popsloader plugin

Hi, not a lot of people know this but the namespace for eboot folders in /PSP/GAME/ is limited. When you make the game- make sure the name of the folder containing the resulting eboot.pbp is shorter.

Example:
/PSP/GAME/"TooLongFolderNameExample" -> /PSP/GAME/"ShorterName"
