It's not a flash game, it's a pretty large html5 or some type of javascript or VM or something.
In my mind web browser game = flash game. I know that's not correct but that's just how I refer to them. Sorry for the misunderstanding.

Not sure if it's possible but that would be so cool
Technically, it might be possible. The game is open source, and with some tweaking, I think the 3DS should be able to handle it.
It's just that actually porting it to the 3ds may be difficult, and likely wont happen for a long while.

the possible part was mainly for the guy who started the thread

I'm trying to save up money to port it, we'll see how it works out.
i have contacted Ratalaika Games (the creators of Spiller) for a license. they sadly don't support 3DS or PS Vita anymore.

Looks like we are on our own then.
Oh well, if someone managed to port Half Life to 3DS, someone will probably make a FNF port at some point.

If anything the control scheme on 3DS could potentially fit a more "Rockband plugged" if you know what I'm getting at.
Two arrow keys mapped to the D-PAD and the others mapped to the face buttons.
Customizability would work wonders for this type of game if one control scheme doesn't suit your playstyle

i forgot when I compiled it but I'm pretty sure it was html5 when I last checked

So it has to be rewritten right
more of a compiler. there are switch compilers (official ones from haxeflixel) so I don't see why not. If a compiler existed. it probably can be remade. Blasting Agent, a game made with haxeflixel has had a 3ds release. so it's most likely possible to code one ourselves because both fnf and haxeflixel are open source.

My old potato with 4 GB of RAM and Intel Celeron has some crashes with the game, I really don't know if it could run properly on the 3DS (even more because it is a rhythm game, precision is everything and lag could hinder gameplay) Wii U and PSVita so yes I think that maybe it could run. (if I'm not mistaken, they both support Flash)

me and the dev joke about this and the game has pretty bad spaghetti code. it could easily run currently and with upcoming optimizations.

it is open source, but ABXY button layouts don't go well with rhythm games of that type. also it's a flash game so I'm not sure how that'd carry over
aight so 2 things

1. the games not a flash game its a html5 game with a pc download version made in haxelflixel

2. controls aren’t an issue as the ddr ps1 and ps2 games let you use a dualshock where you can play the game using both the face buttons and dpad at the same time this was my stepmania control setup for years before i moved to keyboard

Oof, I really wanted to play it... it's still pretty cool to see someone really interested in porting to the 3DS even though it only works on New.

I just tested it.
I'm surprised, it actually runs pretty well for being a PSX port run on an emulator.
It does suffer of lag occasionally but I think if this was a native port with some other optimization like making the rest of the assets lower res, the problems could be solved.
As it is, the game runs surprisingly fine and almost smoothly.

I think if we ported Kade Engine version of FNF, it would run better, mostly for the input system of Kade Engine being easier to deal with a gamepad.

And this is me being confused, how is it that Spiller no longer supports 3DS games? Cant we just pick an older version that supports it?
