Hacking I gought a Wii. Where to start with Hacking?

I just cant find how to clean SD form not needed files but ill manage.

Can you tell me please what files are important in freshly modded Wii and How exactly BootMii as IOS protect my Wii from bricking? I kinda see it as vulnerable since its not installed as a Boot2. Is that really gonna be a problem?

Also i have this problem where i try to load my backed up GC game from nintendont and Wii games from USB but they both kick me to system menu.
Is my system ready to play backups after this mod mii wizard guide?

Its saying 4.1E now though so its updated, thats good

Thanks but its updated. ModMii's wizard guide worked! Not for installing HBC though, i always got freezing screen when i need to press (1)
i had to use Hackmii instead to bypass that so i can install HBC so i can continue with wizard guide hacking. So now i have a backup of nand, installed all the hacks cios-es i guess and homebrew is working

Im just worried about bootmii installed as IOS...i read somewhere tht its not good and since i cant install it as Boot2 i am kinda wondering is it brick proof an my other wii that has boot2

BootMii as IOS provides zero brick protection, but combined with Priiloader it provides a low level of brick protection, you can boot into BootMii IOS from Priiloader and restore NAND backup or boot HBC to unbrick in other ways, but only if Priiloader is still able to boot. If the system menu is overwritten, system menu IOS is bricked, or something earlier in the boot chain is not working, Priiloader can't help you. boot2 loads before most things and can solve many more bricks, but only works on early Wiis.
