Hacking new switch mod, any way to autoboot any cfw without any extra hardware?

hi, so new to switch hacking and way behind with everything, basically this new switch would be for one of my kids, is there anyway to boot cfw without a second device to send the payload? he's likely to let the console die completely and me having to constantly reupload the payload would be rather annoying
he also cant be trusted or understand how to use any sort of rcmloader, likely to either lose, snap or break something

If you are buying patched(You can check if your's is patched from ismyswitchpatched.com and red boxed ones are definitely patched) switch then your only option is SX CORE(modchip).
If you are buying an unpatched switch then you can try some modchips like Trinket M0 or still go with SX CORE. These wouldn't require RCM Loader or something like that for payloads.

No because the exploit involves sending a payload. Soldering a modchip within the console would count as extra hardware.
