I just updated from 9.2.0, booting via hetake and my sd was exFAT.
Updated to 10.1.0 AMS 0.14.1, using primary fusee, updated sigpatches and changed my sd to fat32, since I was using Goldleaf/Goldtree/Quark to install games.
However, I can't boot some games, like FF7, FF8R, FF9, FE3H & Tokyo Mirage Sessions.
Not sure why these games arent working, tried different releases, downloaded multiple times if corrupted nsp file.
Neither worked.

I also cant use 90DNS cause I have a friends account linked to my switch and I'm afraid to ban his account if I mess up with wifi settings...

Can someone help me with this?
Thanks in advance!
You're probably using the wrong patches. Do the following:
  1. Make sure the SD card is FAT32.
  2. Remove all CFW files/folders from your SD card (that would be folders like /sept/ and /atmosphere/)
  3. Download the latest Atmosphere
  4. Download the latest fusee-primary (next to Atmosphere)
  5. Download these signature patches (for Atmosphere v0.14.1)
  6. Put Atmosphere and the signature patches onto your SD card
  7. Put the SD into your Switch
  8. Enter RCM
  9. Launch Atmosphere using fusee-primary

Keep at it and be patient. A friend of mine recently snapped up a brand new unopened & unpatched Switch for around £330 including shipping, which I think is totally worth and much more preferable to buying Mariko then pay for mod chip + installation.
Yes, the ones I'm seeing look old and are expensive. I have a Switch Lite but I think it's not worth paying too much for installing a modchip in it because it's a more limited console that you can't play on the TV. Now I regret a little bit getting the Lite.

It didnt worked.
I tried FF8R, Same error when launching "The software was closed because an error occurred". Also checked for corrupted files and it says its ok.
It's very weird, since more complex games like SSBU and Xenoblade Chronicles 2 worked with all updates and DLC's.

I like the Lite's colours but I'd rather play docked on a comfy TV. It's still possible to find brand new unpatched Switches on occasion - just have to hope to find one that's been stashed away for years.

Yes, I'll have a look at physical (and online) shops.

Is there any homebrew which can auto-update your .xci games from the internet using sx os? I want to a hard drive with a lot of .xci games to sideload, but i don't want to manually check if there is a new update when i decide to play a game.
[8:34 AM]
Also what is everyone's experience with SSD vs HDD for sideloading with sx os? Can you use a single non-y cable with a SSD or you still need a y-cable? Im tossing up between using my 1 TB SSD or my 2 TB HDD. I realise the speed-difference for loading will be minimal at best, but I'm more concerned with if I have to use a y-cable or not, also the stability. I remember when i used a HDD previously, it would corrupt easily especially if docking/undocking the switch

Hello there, I have 3 Problems. If you could fix one of them, that would be fine and enable me to continue.
1: The Main Problem (My firmware version is no longer the Homebrew Firmware version, but the official 10.1.0):
Pkg2 decryption failed! Is Sept updated? Failed to launch HOS!
But Sept is the newest version...

2: My NAND is split up into 8 Parts. 7 have 3.96GB; 1 has 1.33GB. In total 29.1 GB, which is what it should be, right?
How do I join them? Nowhere have I seen anyone use 8 parts.

this is actually a hardware question, but there isnt a QTDDTOT on the hardware section: will the switch turn on in docked mode if no screen or battery is plugged into the motherboard? i have an idea but need this info before going through

1) Delete old cfw folders and get latest from github and replace then

2) There should be a joiner script in the hekate download area

Guys, do you think it's possible that Switch Mariko and Lite could be hacked without soldering a chip inside them in the future? Or are you sure that they are totally hack-proof and will stay like that?

Nobody knows the future.

If it happens, which it might not, it probably won't happen for years. If it does happen, it might also require you to be on a low system version, which is only possible if you never connect the Switch to the internet and only play games released around a certain date and older (depending on the system version).

In summary, you probably aren't going to hack your Switch without a modchip anytime soon, and probable hacks might require you to basically stuff your Switch in a closet between now and then. If you want to hack your Switch, get a modchip or buy an exploitable Switch.

Can someone point me to the best dongle/jig for the fusee-gelee coldboot setup?
I like to use a paperclip jig, and after I boot into RCM for the first time and boot Hekate, I install AutoRCM so I never have to use a jig again.

Since you have booted Atmosphere, your chances of getting banned are no longer zero.

There is no such homebrew application that can auto-update .XCI games. Also please refrain from double-posting as suggested by this site.

Is there an step-by-step for getting CFW set up on an fusee exploitable Switch with 10+ firmware, starting from 0?

I see lots of guides for updating your sd card, and lots of guides for setting up out of date software, but nothing that combines the two?

  9. Launch Atmosphere using fusee-primary, using something like TegraRcmGUI to send fusee-primary to your Switch over a USB-C cable.

If you followed my steps exactly and you're still having issues, then there is probably something wrong with the game or SD card. If it were me, I'd delete the game and reinstall it using an NSP from another source.

Technically, there is no such thing as signature patches. There are ES and FS patches. These instruct the console to ignore certain aspects of games in order to be played. ES, which stands for Eticket Services, are required to install and launch .NSP files which are backups of digital games. FS, which stands for FileSystem, are needed to play .XCI files.
Thank you!
