Homebrew Question Noob- Am i going to get banned if i turn on my wifi?

Hi ,
I am trying to use the homebrew app store to install apps and themes but I'm really afraid of getting banned if i go online. My switch has already been in airplane mode.

Unlegit NSPs or XCIs will get you banned if you go online.

i have unlegit games (NSPs) installed. My only purpose for going online is to install homebrew apps. Also, how do i install .nro files?

Then use 90 DNS to block Nintendo's servers. You don't install .nro files, simply copy them to the switch folder and start them from the homebrew loader. An alternative would be to get a NSP version of the homebrew and install it.

90dns didn't block a few of nintendo's servers for me. So you might get banned if you only use that. Sorry for the late reply, might be too late already. Hopefully it worked for you.

If you are using Atmosphere you can use the Exosphere .ini to blank your serial number. That way Nin can't tell what switch to ban, and won't allow you to connect to your servers.

I forget where the exospere.ini is located, but should be on your SD card. the line you want to change is "blank_prodinfo_emu(or sys)mmc. Put a 1 at the end then check in system settings to make sure your serial number is gone.

If your on SXos, their stealth mode should work similarly.
