i have games installed across multiple sd cards that I would like to merge into one, is that possible?
Just grag them to onei have games installed across multiple sd cards that I would like to merge into one, is that possible?
thanks for the informed and detailed answer, seems complicated but i will get to it soon. It's not a simple drag and drop. You have to account for the KeyY ⇄ <ID0> encryption, database records: title.db and import.db, and anti-restore save measure known as secure value.
i found that both memory cards have the same folder ids but different subfolders:It's not a simple drag and drop. You have to account for the KeyY ⇄ <ID0> encryption, database records: title.db and import.db, and anti-restore save measure known as secure value.
Then they from 2 different ninids or from a before formatted 3ds and afteri found that both memory cards have the same folder ids but different subfolders:

can i merge the content of the subfolders without re-encryption?
See the last thread about <ID0> parent folder and first <ID1> + second <ID1> child folders.i found that both memory cards have the same folder ids but different subfolders:

To find the default <ID1> of a particular SD card, rename the Nintendo 3DS folder to something else like Nintendo 3DS (main). Insert the card to the 3DS system, boot to HOME Menu, and allow the jingle tone to finish as the 3DS creates new home menu extdata. Turn off the 3DS, remove the SD card, go back on computer, and check the new (mostly empty) Nintendo 3DS folder.i did,
As long as the <ID0> is the same for every Nintendo 3DS folders, you can merge all of the <ID1> into a single one. While not technically necessary, it's best practice to match the name of the <ID1> to what the 3DS system naturally creates it as for a particular SD card. You can use a different <ID1>, but there's a slight chance the 3DS will refuse to acknowledge that one if the natural <ID1> is already present.
meaning i can merge them?
Was both ID folders same series of numbers?i have merged the two Memory cards, i thought that would be enough, but only the content from the last card shows up, do i have to go through the process of rebuilding DBs? Looks hard
Yeah, <ID0> are the sameWas both ID folders same series of numbers?
Then they different profiles/3ds they came fromImpossible, They're different cards
No, that's not it.Then they different profiles/3ds they came from
Yes, you have to go through the process of rebuilding the title.db and import.db in order to relist the two separate sets into one. People who fail to use the CTRTransfer (Type D9) - Rebuild 3DS Database is because they don't read and follow the ~ INSTRUCTIONS ~ for Option (A) Quick or the ~ INSTRUCTIONS ~ for Option (B) Full.i have merged the two Memory cards, i thought that would be enough, but only the content from the last card shows up, do i have to go through the process of rebuilding DBs? The script by itself won't rebuild the database but rather sets you up to safely do so with the help of FBI, faketik, and Cthulhu. There are some key differences between the three options but the jest to rebuilding the title.db and import.db requires installing CIAs, which this act adds back those any/all missing entries.i m confused about the script, if i have to re install the games through fbi then how do i resume the script after? and does it only generate the cia for titles not in the current db or all of them?
