Homebrew Homebrew cias failure

Hi. I just recently purchased an old 3DS, specifically the very first 3DS in the Aqua color. I am not new to the whole hacking scene/ zipping/ handling files/ SD cards, but I am new to any type of hacks that deal with the 3DS. I tried to install Homebrew and have encountered a number of problems, but thankfully have been able to troubleshoot them. But I am stuck and Google is of no help. My current issue is when I go into FBI, go into cias, and pick to install and delete all CIAs, there is an error. Failed to install CIA file. What do I have to do to fix this problem? Result code: 0xD9004588. Hoping someone can help me out with this. Thank you in advance.

Hmmm. Can you post what FBI says. That number dont really much much as it is.

Check if your SD card is fake, faulty, or dying.

Copy everything off the SD card to a computer.
Quadruple reformat.
Full Write + Verify the empty card in H2testw. Do not skip.

I think my SD card could be fake... I ordered it off of Amazon. It is the 'Micro SD' card brand, 32gb. Due to the fact that I am a mac user I unfortunately cannot use H2testw.

If you have macOS that is not Catalina (older than version 10.15), see F3X (Mac) or Wine + H2testw (Windows).

If macOS is Catalina, see instead F3 (Linux). The same should apply for macOS.

Edit - Another option is Windows Boot Camp if you got it.
