Where do I actually put the ps1 bios, I have them in my ps1 folder but when I load pcsx rearmed the bios don’t load. I read put them in system folder so that is where I put them, I seen a system folder in the cores folder, so I made a bios folder and put them there and still they don’t load. Today was the first time as far as I know where I may need them for a graphics problem, I just downloaded wwf in your house and there is a graphics problem and from the sound I’m hearing, I believe I have a sound problem too.

Ok I just took the bios out of the bios folder and now I don’t get bios not loaded message anymore. All files still in the system folder but game graphics still broken, either I’m somehow downloading a bad copy of the game or the bios I have are not the ones I need and there is only three bios that I seen I had to download and I got them from the retroarch website if I recall correctly.

What game, is it one game or 20 games? These type of questions are needed to help you.

Graphics being broken usually don't have to do with the bios if the game works the bios are fine unless it's the wrong region (sometimes) It's probably a setting in Retroarch or not overclocking, or not using title override to get the extra ram.

I’m trying to get wwf in your house to work properly, this is the first time I encountered a problem like this. The sound is wrong to but it doesn’t bother me much.

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

Let me try getting a different copy of the game so far two copies I tried looked the same.

I just got a ps1 emulator for my pc after along time, nothing is wrong with the game, I’ll look into your suggestions to see if I could fix the graphics issue on the switch.

Is there an NSP for the latest build ? As I would use this a lot, I would like this showing with the rest of the games and not need to give extra permissions (holding right button while clicking on a game to start it)...

I am still at the point of setting it up so it's easy to do now...

NSP is not supported and not recommended in any way. The only supported method is title redirection. It's been said a thousand times before.

Right and I saw things from older posts, so I just wanted to see if anything has changed or if someone knew different.

Thanks for being clear on it...

What are the best options to reduce stutter on snes9x and other 16-bit cores? I turned off Threaded Video and synced to Estimated Screen Framerate. Any other options I should enable/disable?

So, what is the deal with N64... My folders are setup according to the first post, in the root of my flash card Roms\ <name of console>

I deleted my roms and recopied them from the original tested source and checked all permissions to make there was nothing funky that could cause issues. I also updated all cores/retroarch before putting the roms on the SD card.

All system games appear fine accept N64. If I do a scan, it will not find anything, If I point the scan to where the N64 roms are, RetroArch will crash.

If I do a manual scan. Setting the N64 Rom folder ( Nintendo - Nintendo 64), System name as such, Core, Nintendo 64 (Mupen64Plus-Next) and set file etx to N64 (as all the files are labeled as .n64), I kick it off and I will see a "No Valid Content Detected" message come up.

I know N64 is hit or miss but normally stuff like Mario 64 and very popular ones normally run ok to good but, I can't even add files to select to use in my library.

Any idea ? Or is there a work-a-round for the N64 ?

There isn't. Something to do with dodgy GL drivers apparently. You are stuck with the microstutter until that's resolved. If it even gets fixed that is

I tried PSNES as an alternative, but I have a lot of patched games with fan translations, and I couldn't get them to show up because of the built in database. I guess my search for a portable device that can play SNES games with no issues continues...
