I had my vita all setup, with everything installed, henkaku, enso, sd2vita, etc. I had been playing on my ps4 the past four months and hadn't played on the vita. I opened up vita and downloaded a game i had purchased from the store, one of the cross buy games. i tried playing the game on the vita. it was acting strange. i turned off the vita. i turned the vita back on. None of the games i have on my vita would open. i got a file corruption error. I looked on here somewhere and someone said to do a factory reset, that it wouldn't mess up enso. So i did a factory reset. when i reboot, i see the molecule symbol on boot, then when i get over to the regular screens, everything is gone except system icons, settings screen shows no henkaku settings. system says i am on 3,65 with nothing after the number, vitashell is gone. I'm thinking henkaku or enso is still on here because i see the molecule symbol on bootup. at what step should i start to put this back? sd2vita?

the last app i installed was noboru.apk which is a manga reader. which i think had malware in it. Here is what i can't do:
update the system. i get three strange options. msg_update_wifi? msg_update_ps3? msg_update_pc?
pressing any of these does nothing. i can get hencore to copy over, but none of the buttons allows me to change from ()exit to anything else. i have to reboot to get out of it.

what i've got is a royal paperweight thanks to a disgruntled hacker who doesn't believe in modding.

VitaShell was deleted. Internal memory showed zero gigabytes. the vita would not allow me to do a system update.
Enso was still there. Hencore settings gone from settings. I was able to do auto-hencore to get hencore app back on, but when i run it, none of the buttons work, R L up down left right. so i am unable to get vitashell back on the vita. i tried the psvimgtools method, but it says I am not the correct owner to allow copying.

Now just do thing the simple way. First you got enso, it mean enso still there, but you do factory reset meaning it got hidden, must NOT install enso again.

Now because henkaku is lost, you must do this step again to got Vitashell and henkaku back:

Now the best thing, since you have sd2vita, everything is stay in the Sd2vita, so get yamt basic and set sd2vita as ux0:

I used auto hencore and put hencore back. The problem: Hencore app will NOT allow me to change the selection. up and down do not work. I have never dropped my vita. nothing is broken on my vita
