Tried it just to see what it was like...it ran surprisingly well. Like, really well. But no way is it worth it, considering you’re buying games separately and you never “own” them anyway.

The free trial didn't immediately go live worldwide, they're slowly rolling it out to countries to avoid overloading the servers at once. There's no word on when the promotion will end.

Game streaming reserve your HD space and you can play anywhere that's what makes it attractive to most people. But I feel the product has potential but I just dont see many people getting this you either have a PS4, Xbox One , or a PC. (Switch isn't in the big leagues hehe) I really liked the PS Now but it had lacked newer game titles and mostly had PS3 games (I already have a CFW Ps3) the PS4 games they did offer you could get then under $20 (depending on what you wanted) I wish they had game streaming for my Xbox One. That was a big selling point with me buying the Xbox One was due to their impressive game list for gamepass. I wish they had game streaming I know they are working on it though.

But hey it is atleast free for 2 months might as well use it and cancel subscription.

Storage is cheap and mostly irrelevant in a modern setup, except for anemic consoles who think it is acceptable to sell a 500GB device in 20XX, and there are many solutions that won't give up control of your games/has a preset game list, Netflix-style.

Stadia is a dead project simply because it doesn't allow you to use *your* games nor allows you to *own* them, making you buy the same game twice and possibly losing access when the service goes under. Meanwhile, you have something like PS4 Remote Play or GeForce Now where you can pop in your game and play it anywhere or something like PS4 Now that doesn't make you buy the games again. Cloud gaming shouldn't replace local gaming, but complement it instead, I truly believe that any company who wants to go full cloud is doomed to failure and I hope Stadia proves my point.

Just tried to sign up. It still asks for an invite code on the app and won't let you sign up on the website. These idiots can't even give it AWAY correctly....SMDH

Your kidding me right. You have to either buy a full controller and chromecast set from them or use there mobile app to sign up? why can't you just sign up through the website...
can't believe how gforce now was able to pull of a relitivly smooth luanch yet months in stadia can't even make the service easy to sign up for.
