???uhhhh is there an update for this?
it looks like a half porting???
What's there to update?
The dynarec is Gone and is currently being used in Mupen64 Plus Next.
There is no half porting in these things and none of these issues are related to the dynarec (but rather the limited GPU)it looks like a half porting
... not a core / version 100% implemented on this Hardware / operating system
games 2.5D like mischief makers , Clayfighter 64 doesn't work on this Mupen64 Plus Next version.
*however thanks to m4xw for his work!

I just tried those, I'm on 9.1.0 and there is no controller input on either of those cores, when I load them, I can't even control the retroarch menu anymoreIt's right there in that list

I would never use sxos, I updated all the cores and the retroarch_switch.nro the only ones I've tried that the controls where not working in was the ppsspp and n64 coresAre you using sxos? Also make sure all your cores + retroarch loader are up2date.

facepalm for many reasonsThe same thing happened to me. I had to install this retroarch NSP (which creates a shortcut on you main menu). Launch the retroarch icon on the main menu, then once inside Retroarch update the assets etc.
