Short answer: No.I have a question, I can use the transfer 3ds app on the dsi to transfer homebrew that i install in my dsi ?
Use a flashcard. That's the only solution. How do I fix the SNES emulator not saving savestates?

Having put CFW on my 3DS and afterwards installing TWiLight. I today realised I have an old DS. Trying out some old DS-games, it looks like the DS does not read DS cartridges any more. An old GBA Pokemon FireRed game does boot up, so only the DS slot seems broken.
No biggie, I thought. I'll just see if TWiLight works on a DS as well. As far as I can tell, it does. However--and here is my noob question--how would I install TWiLight with a broken DS slot? Is it possible?
If it's at all possible to put CFW on my DS, I want to do that as soon as possible so I can give away the DS to a family with children that has to stay at home now.
I was afraid of this.To install Custom Firmware or better said use TWiLight Menu on your DS you need a Flashcard,
Because the DS/DS Lite has not that Kind of "System Software" like the DSi.
Let me see if this is something I am willing to try. I do not even know for sure the DS slot is the key component that needs repairing. Furthermore, I do not even know if it's worth.it--shipment probabaly takes even longer than usual right now.You can maybe try to change/repair the Slot 1 on your DS:

Do the image filenames have ".gba" before ".png"?Hello guys! New face here, I have a little question. I just recently got a DSi with TM++ (and loving it btw) but I can't seem to figure out how to add a thumbnail to GBA roms to be displayed on the upper screen instead of just a black square with a question mark. I have the images but naming them the same as the rom itself doesn't seem to cut it. Thanks!
Thanks for the reply! Nope, they don't. In fact, I didn't even realise they needed to be in *.PNG. Gonna try a bit later and see if that works.Do the image filenames have ".gba" before ".png"?
Yes, they need to be in "sd:/_nds/TWiLightMenu/boxart/".Eh, nothing seems to work. I tried *.gba.png, simply *.png, tried naming the files like V49E.gba and V49E.gba.png...
I must be missing something, like maybe pixel size has to be specific? Or maybe I need to put the images into some other folder instead of :\_gba?
That worked! Sorry if it was mentioned anywhere, I tried to find it but couldn't.Yes, they need to be in "sd:/_nds/TWiLightMenu/boxart/".
TWiLight has some built-in emulators.Hi! There guys so newbie here XD
Not so long ago I modded my DSi (unlaunch.HiyaCFW and TWL++) so my question is are there extra emulators that i can install and run on my Ds aside from NeoDs ?
Just launch a ROM in TWLMenu++, and the emulator will start.TWiLight Menu++ thread said:NES/Famicom, via nesDS
(Super) GameBoy (Color), via GameYob
Sega Master System/Game Gear, via S8DS
Sega MegaDrive/Genesis, via jEnesisDS
Super Nintendo/Famicom, via SNEmulDS

Good Luck
Thank you.
Very good idea! FlashMe via Download Play/Haxxstation confirmed working. The only thing I can think of is using haxxstation with his other 3ds and a slot2 flashcart to get flashme so that he can use the slot2 to run ds games? I don't even know if this would be possible but would be interesting.
Instead of swapping the slot1 reader he could try cleaning it with isopropyl alcohol or somehing.
Wait, is that a joke or did you actually try it??Very good idea! FlashMe via Download Play/Haxxstation confirmed working.
Not a joke. I opened a DS-Lite, and installed a spare firmware chip without FlashMe. After that I taped the battery in place and uploaded Haxxstation/FlashMe from a Wii.Wait, is that a joke or did you actually try it??
