Yeah, I do respect site's etiquette. This has nothing to do with status.

I don't speak Chinese so I have no idea whether or not they frown on it or what there policy is for sharing codes from their site. I don't have any problem sharing codes, you should recognize that by now since I share all MY cheats in this very thread all the time, but when sharing other people's cheats its a different story. It was a simple question, not an opening for a debate on the merits of giving credit, or hoarding cheats for myself. Please refrain yourself from calling my character into question.

i'm not calling your character into question. you asked why i shared that code. And i explaind because i like to put all the cheats togheter. no matter who made them. I do think that if you share codes that you did not make you should name the maker.

Personally, I share the cheats too, like those disgaea 5 codes you converted for me, but I also don't speak Chinese so I'm not sure how they feel about it, but I have seen codes from this thread shared over there, some even without credits, so I think it's fine personally to share as long as you do give credit.

struggle to understand the format of this forum.

Why is there one place everyone just dumps their cheats in, instead of each game having a main forum page? Like it baffling looking through 1000+ pages to find out if your game has been updated.

You don't have to look in 1000 pages , in page 1 there is an updated main cheat file that you can download with all the cheats and updated cheats that had been updated . If there's a cheat for version 1 you can always downgrade the game .
And if there isn't a cheat for a game of game update you can always go to speedfly and pay for the cheats you want to be done .

while i can understand to a point, the author of this thread does try his best to keep the main cheat file on page up to date. Now if you want an update on when your games get an updated cheat, then i would recommend https://www.switchcheatsdb.com/ as they do have a system to email you when they is an update....other than that. i cant say anything that would be an acceptable answer.....

1000 pages , 20000 comments and cheats for almost 500 games and updates .
Awesome achievement , thanks to all the people that made cheats , update them , help and assist with the many questions posted on the thread , and gbatemp with a growing community .
I'm on Vacations , but I Will update the main cheat file next Tuesday or Wednesday I have to catch up with a lot of cheats posted from previous pages .
