Hacking ReFOOD doesn't work - Might have installed it in the wrong order.

I installed ReFood via AutoPlugin, and I've checked everything to see if they're all correct. The Ur0:tai/reF00D.skprx is there in the config.txt, (the O's are Zero's) as well as the keys.bin file. The one thing I did notice is that the reF00D.skprx is before nonpdrm.skprx in my config file, while others have it the other way around. It said to install NoNpDrm first, and unfortunately, I think I installed it after reF00D. Is there a way to uninstall reF00D, or can I just swap the order in the config.txt?

(the game I'm trying it on is the Nonary Games, and I've installed the compatibility packs for it, but it still doesn't work)

You don't need to download the compat packs with refood, it should work by just downloading and playing the game.

I think compat packs were used with repatch before refood was out.

As for the lines in config.txt, yea you can manually switch them through vitashell.

Yep, figured that out about compacks. I switch the text out successfully, rebooted, but unfortunately, I'm still getting a C1-6703-6 error. (I also get the area with the compacks, without reFood) not sure if the issue is with the game or reFood :/

EDIT: Update, I re-installed the game and compack, just to give it another go, 999 mode works fine but virtue's last reward just crashes. Someone else had a similar issue, which they fixed with reFood, but unfortunately reFood still refuses to work for me.

You can use compatibility packs and reF00d together; the plugin is made to not load if you have a compat pack for the game.

Are you using NoNpDrm? Are you using reF00d's latest version?

Check if the compat pack you are using is the correct one for that game and FW. As you know, compat packs were made by FW, and they may crash the game if it isn't the correct one. That said, you don't really need the compat packs if you are using reF00d (unless you want your games to load faster by a tiny amount, that is).

Delete the compat packs and reboot, it should work with just nonpdrm and refood plugins. I just tried it out and got it working, good luck!

Sorry for digging this thread up, but I thing I have a similar problem. My vita is at 3.67, h-encore is installed, and everything works fine. Now I want to play a game that requires a higher firmware, so I searched the net and found refood is my solution for my problem. I loaded die keys und the plugin file to my Tai folder, added a line in the config, rebooted, and it's not working.. So next I try to install it over autoplugin, but that didn't work either. I pretty sure I missed something, but I don't want to mess up my system, because I use a SD to vita, and I remember it was a pain to set it up. Someone has a tip for me? I already tried to put the config line hier in list, but with no other result than a massage to update my system when I try to start the game. Oh, and by the way, I also tried 0syscall6, but with the same result

here's what my tai looks like (pretty basic). everything works as it should. make sure ref00d is in the kernel section (k in skprx stands for kernel actually, secure kernel plugin to be exact:

So this is my config. I tested some other plugins, just to see if anything works. The plugin to turn of the led doesn't work, the plugin to show Batterie status in status bar just works fine..

I think order is irrelevant, but there have been some people who couldn't get certain plugins to work if they were out of order. you might try the config.txt that's already been created in the vita guide. that one should work, no problem.

So, I take the config from die guide, set up the line for my storgemgr.
Everything works again, so. I'm lucky..
When I start die 3.70 game I don't get an message that want my to update my system, I now get an error message with the code C1-6703-6...

I discovered that pkgj ether not detected refood oder 0syscall6.. And I'm missing itls, so says pkgj.. But it's installed multiple times now.. I don't get it..

you can just ignore the error message, you can still download.

I know, but I think there is a problem with my cfw or some something like that. Itls is not working, 0syscall6, refood, noled... Everything that I install in die kernel section I think.. I don't want to lose everything on my SD card, because I don't want to reload/rerip them, so I don't downgrade to 3.60..

what firmware are you on? if you haven't downgraded to 3.60 or 3.65 you are likely to get issues

With your problem, i suggest you just downgrade to 3.65, most game on vita work on that firmware without need for plugin or compack. Or go down to 3.60 and install 0syscal, it help bypass the firmware requirement.
Since you are on 3.68, there are auto henkaku tools that download and run everything, you dont have to worry about risk of ban or brick. Personally, i prefer 3.65 since I do use my account to buy and support PSN game sometime on sales, and dont have to use ref00d or 0syscal yet is a minor bonus.

Witch auto henkaku should I use? What about everything my on my SD card? Is all lost when I downgrade with that installer? That's what I meant when I said I don't want to mess it up just for 1 game..

Yes. Multiple times. by hand and with autoplugin.
