O and whats the steps to fix the DK64 Camera in Retroarch? good info to have, I can see people asking in this thread eventually
Code:
DK64 Camera Issue workaround:
-    Start ROM
-    Turn FBEmu On
-    Set RDRAM Depth stuff: Software (fromMem does not work)
-    Close ROM & start ROM again
-    Get ingame
-    Do a Savestate
-    Turn FBEmuoff, RDRAM stuff back or whatever (optional if perf boost is wanted from here on)
-    Close ROM & start ROM again
-    Load Savestate
-    Stays fixed whenever u load that Savestate

probably crash on close, i wouldnt be surprised. I need to fix my msvc build, rn I am doing some weird shit, its a major surprise it even works so good hah
honestly cant thank you enough dude. your tearing up the homebrew scenes on multiple consoles :) i have a large list of games and i have gathered alot of knowlegde on using retroarch if you want something tested or feedback exc.

funny enough i was testing out mednefan on ps4 pro since yesterday (dreaming what retroarch will be like on the ps4). then boom xbox hits back with a promising release. but yeah ps4 need to up thier game.

we will see, no promises on that front but at least i want to improve the horrible IO thats throwing exceptions on purpose all the time...
That grinds me the wrong way, mupen nx will get first class msvc + angle + uwp support, so you can def. expect a lot of improvements on that front (directly impacting xbox).
Also the shader cache lags, hd textures and some other bugs need to get figured.
Gotta fix playlist too..

If you want to help, when you get a game that just crashes on startup, repeatedly, get me a crash dump.
Its like 900mb or so but compresses to 30mb. Need that for crash analysis.
Logs dont really work here since i have a ugly hack due to some SEH issues...

NOTE: Some Cores such as Citra, Mupen64, Reicast/Redream require an OpenGL renderer to function which currently the Xbox One doesn't have. Until ANGLE (translates OpenGL calls to Direct3D) is ported to Xbox One don't expect to see these Cores running.

What exactly does this entail? I saw a couple Github issues on the ANGLE repo from 2016 that referred to this (https://github.com/Microsoft/angle/issues/60 and https://github.com/Microsoft/angle/issues/21). Would a UWP port of retroarch help address this? (Also apologies for any ignorance, literally just started looking into the Xbox hacking scene today as I bought one last week :D)

EDIT: oh shit I just read the last few pages, it seems like y'all got Mupen64 working, amazing job :)

Have you rewritten/are you rewriting retroarch from the ground up as a uwp app now? fwiu retroarch wasn't a uwp app before correct? i'm more trying to understand the challenges that were needed to get over to write an xbox impl for angle

I no its probable answered somewhere. But how do I create a folder? I wanted to test hd packs but need to make folders for them. (I no hd packs probable dont work but wanted to test it out)

    I think all in my Pi 4 was well north of 200 bucks 150ish for the Pi 4 the case the fancy cooler, then like 70 for the 500GB MicroSD then like 70 for the Xbox controller. But honestly it's a nice set up I really enjoy and to me was worth every penny. (even bought more controllers for 2 or 4 player games.) hmmm have never played any 2 player games yet :(
