OP
My Windows 7 laptop is having some problems so I executed a factory reset but after waiting about a minute into the reset it says it cannot locate the backup files even though I specified that I wished to do a complete factory reset this error will not stop no matter how many times I try it I am hoping someone could suggest a solution thanks -Ryu

The backup files are normally stored on a hidden partition on your drive.
If for any reason you got rid of that partition in the past to get back some extra disk space, then you’re generally outa luck. You can try finding a recovery disk from the laptop MFR website, or contact them to send you an ISO to create your own, but without that you will have to do a clean install.

I suggest backing up your data and running a clean install, ideally of Windows 10, but you can still do Windows 7 if your heart is set on it.

Edit: just noticed that this is another branch of another one of your threads. I personally can’t stand that kind of behaviour creating multiple threads for basically the same thing, so this is as far as I will offer advise.

Windows 7 will lose all security support in a little over a month. It is highly recommended that you instead do a clean installation of Windows 10 if your hardware supports it.
