i highly suggest not using the gift items x99,cos some quests in the hub could bug out,I would use it then just set all the items to something like like 1-5 or something to be safe,i haven't experienced anything wrong with misc items x99 yet.I did both and I'm up to chapter 3 currently so.

Just to be safe use both codes then shift click from the top to the bottom and change both to something low like 1-20 or something to not have the chance to bug the game, tbh its up to you.Test it out and see what breaks.JUST REMEMBER TO BACK UP YOUR SAVE.

Would making all the gift and misc items x99 affect me in the long run?
It's better to use infinite gifts on and off. Too much cluttering later and the possibility of quest bugs happening.

Unrelated, but does anyone have cases where three star budding talent simply not triggering/working?

So I'm trying to add a character to my party after recruitment is no longer possible (after the time skip) and I'm having some difficulties, any help would be very appreciated.

Since for some reason you cannot recruit Hilda with female Byleth, thought I'd add her with the save editor. Only problem is that she's only added to the roster, she still isn't available on the supports list and still cannot be instructed at the start of each week. I haven't tried finding her in the hub but I suppose she won't be available for that too.

Any ideas how I could fix this? I'm willing to even try hex editing but I'm very inexperienced with it.

Treid to edit ANYTHING with the save editor, I even copied one save over all the others but after injecting the backup into the game there are no changes. Any idea why?

@Xen0 I used Checkpoint as recommended to me by TuHVo earlier in this thread, and at first since I was having a similar issue - but I'd forgotten than once I'd edited the save and put it back onto the card, to go back into Checkpoint on my Switch, go to the backup where I'd edited the files and selected to Restore it. Now I don't know about nxmtp since I've yet to use it, so I can't help you there - but if what I've said helps in any capacity then I hope it works out.

I've also experienced something similar and I think it has to do the time jump. I lost a character but the save editor doesn't mark him as dead so I can't revive him. But he's clearly gone lol. I also tried to put Hilda in my party and that doesn't work. (Slyvain died :( )

Tried with checkpoint and edizon now - no luck.
I´m also past the time jump and tried to reset to an earlier month/chapter because I missed the opportunity to join Edelgard and I really wanted to go with her...

Edit: Actually one save file is right before the time skip so idk
Could it have somehting to do with the suspend function? I have one active

I'm still personally experimenting with the Save Editor, and it is in Beta 3 - so it is likely that there'll be an issue or two. My personal process when using the editor + Checkpoint is like so;

- With the game open, save the file to the slot I want to be editing (so for me, I used slot 5 ingame since it was a throwaway save slot for me)
- Once the game was saved, I closed the game and went into Checkpoint to make a backup of the current saves, then named it whatever.
- Once the backup was made, turned off the switch and set up the microsd with my PC so I could grab the files I need.
- Made a copy of the save I was going to be using (save slot 5, file name slot04) and put it in a safe place, then opened the original in the Save Editor.
- Made the changes I wanted via the editor for the example which was changing some of Byleth's stats and adding Owl feathers to my gift inventory, specifically 4 just so I know it actually worked (I made sure to click Save Changes in the Roster tab, and that I clicked 'Set Amount to:' after clicking Owl feathers and selecting 4 in the Items tab).
- I then, in File, clicked Write Save and selected the original file to overwrite it.
- When done, I took out the microsd and put it back in my switch, injected the payload and booted up to the home screen.
- Once on the home screen, I went into Checkpoint and Restored the backup in Checkpoint (since each backup is a folder with the files in, I just restored the one with the edited file in)
- Closed Checkpoint once that was done, opened 3H and went to Save Slot 5, and the changes were in fact made.

I tried this as well again by writing over two saves, both slot04 (the original) and slot03 (save slot 4, which was another throwaway somewhere near the start of the game), and I did notice that the slot03 save had some issues such as having skipped the entire canyon fight for whatever reason. In the end, it may just come down to the editor being in Beta3 and having issues that come with the territory.

Hold on, an entire chapter got skipped for you? My process is exactly the same and everything has worked like a charm till now.

I wouldn't say the entire chapter was skipped, but the save was the Free Day prior to the canyon fight, at the screen where you can choose to Explore etc. For whatever reason unbeknownst to me, when I booted up the save after doing what I'd done to it, I was greeted by the ending conversations between the characters that occurs after you complete the encounter at the canyon, which greatly confused me. I've had no other big issues outside of this however, so I imagine it was a simple one-off accident - although others are free to experiment and see if they have similar results.

I see you posting the one with 3 stats - 10 stats per lvl up

Are there any way to change it to 70% growth rate per level up? i mean 1 stat = 100% i want it 70% it is possible?

[+1 All Stats on Levelup-(No MOV / CHARM)]
04000000 0038CD0C F1001D1F
04000000 0038CE08 11000539
04000000 0038CF94 11000539
04000000 0038C134 F1001F1F
04000000 0038C1F0 11000668
04000000 0038C3F0 11000668
[+2 All Stats on Levelup-(No MOV / CHARM)]
04000000 0038CD0C F1001D1F
04000000 0038CE08 11000939
04000000 0038CF94 11000939
04000000 0038C134 F1001F1F
04000000 0038C1F0 11000A68
04000000 0038C3F0 11000A68

Here those 2 if it possible can you tell me what to change or how to calculate it i want every level up there a 70% chance for each stats to up

Sorry for my bad english in short i want a growth rate 70% cheat and if possible a way to calculate them so i can change it if i want another number i look at these 2 and i can't really tell how/what to change it

possibly , but it's not technically *Growth-Rate%* per-say , it's more like just X Amount Stat-Point(s) added-(without Randomized Chance) and Guaranteed 100% Chance to get them when leveled-up , to each stat on per-level(s)-up , which isn't actually same as per-say *Growth-Rate%*-(which i don't believe actually exists in game , it goes by Standard *Level-up*-(with *Randomized Chance*) per-say , to Gain a Stat-Point(s) For Each Stat for the Character , e.g. : HP , Str , Def , etc... etc...
which if u noticed? , every-time you Gain a level , you won't get a stat-point to every stat(s) -(well u can , but it's usually unlikely u will) , meaning sometimes , you only get like say - +1 to HP , then +1 to Def , and for the rest of the Stats u Get no points for them , but other times you get a level-up , you get nearly all Stat(s) +1 except one or two of them , usually way it works , it's mostly all Randomized Chance*..
most to what i've Seen , most Fire emblems games are the same as this..

Maybe an odd question but would it be possible to modify the LVL and Skill EXP cheats to use multipliers below 1x? I can see that they all write 0B01xx29 where xx is a value starting at 0x01 and increasing by 4 each time the multiplier is doubled, but I don't know how I'd tweak that to set, for example, a 0.5x or 0.75x exp multiplier.

For context, I want a way to slow down my leveling because I'm finding it too easy to overlevel the story maps. As a result I have to skip all of the optimal maps and paralogues unless I want to trivialize the story battles. Until they release the Lunatic difficulty DLC, I'm hoping that I could make it a little more challenging by slowing down EXP gain using a cheat like this.
Try cheat to infernal. You wont find it easy next unless you max out your character stat etc..lol..

So it not possible? i know i can use aptitude instead but don't really want to use them at all i find some character in three house are downright useless because of growth rate

+1 all are too strong just a level 20 it already god mode character with +1 all

Maddening are fun and all but it also become easy with +1 cheat i'm only using skill xp code and this growth rate code

Inferno also placeholder since enemy have max level and almost cap every stats i don't think they intend to play this way

yes possible in a manner , but honestly way i see it , if u dont want them too strong like that best to just let them level-up normally..
because these code(s) will just out-right make them, as u put it *GodMode-Like* Characters Either way , depending on how you Apply it*..
oh i almost forgot , sorry @myangel ..

adding the how to Calculate yourself *how-to* @myangel ..
