Hey using USB Loader GX

Followed this guide https://gbatemp.net/threads/quick-run-from-virgin-ia-to-usb-loader-master-wii-4-3.539998/

So IOS 56 is Slot 249 and Updated to v10 beta 52 and IOS 57 is slot 250 v10 beta 52

Problem I am having is that some wii games will load into black screen. Some of them will load the "use a strap on dont break your shit dumbass" warning screen for the wii remote, then once I hit A it goes to black.

I can load some games perfectly fine.

All games were "installed" to the USB drive using WII Backup Manager. Wondering if this could be an issue with the ISO itself, or if I still need to do further soft mods for the wii. Drive is fat32. All games are in the wfbs folder.

Hello,

Post a syscheck report, following this guide ==>https://gbatemp.net/threads/posting-a-system-check.300279/

USB keys work poorly with the wii, preferring an external fat32 hard drive for better connectivity.

What are the games that give a black screen ??

Some games need this base 57 to play.

Try your usb key in WBFS format, I mean try it, it may not work

So far the 2 that go black are

New Super Mario Bros. - Goes black upon being selected
Super Mario Galaxy 2 - Goes black after wii remote screen

2 of the main ones I wanted to play since I never had a Wii when it was current content.

that's curious that it tells 2 different version of IOS36 is required.
maybe one is used for cIOS236 installer? isn't it easier to install the 236 wad? or use latest version for both 36 and 236?
I guess that's not the best thread to ask that, xflak would have the answer.

Still getting black screen, going to try different isos. Its either the ISO I was using to make the wbfs, or the drive.

Not really interested in messing with an external HDD was actually wanting to switch from usbloader gx to wii flow to be able to load from SD instead of having to deal with usb at all.
