Hacking Question Youtube app?

So is there a way to get the YouTube app working?

My Switch is NOT Banned
I am on Atmosphere 0.9.2
My OFW is 8.0.1

I have tried downloading the banned switch Patched NSP's but no matter which one I use (even the Atmosphere specifice one)... When I launch tthe Youtube app, it says an Update is Required...

Anyone know how to watch youtube on CFW? I have been using BrowseNX... But it's not the same xD

Probably wants you to update to 8.1.0, if you don't have 90DNS or Incognito configured. Those two is for Nintendo server though.

PSH! I just fixed it... Basically... There are like 7 different YouTube NSPs floating around that I found... But the 3 I tried were YouTube version 1.0.0.... But I just installed a newer one that is version 1.0.1 and now it's working! ;] Thanks anyways!

Good idea for you to set up HBG shop so if there is an update for game/apps like youtube you would know there is one.

I’ve been using Eshop since atmosphere launched and I haven’t been banned yet, I don’t install NSP or XCI though I even play online with Mario maker 2 with Mario turned into link lol

Because I am not worried about being banned? I have 2 switches.... 1 with CFW and 1 with OFW.

If I was worried about being banned, or If I cared at all, then I would not have modded my switch in the first place.

If I was worried about being banned, or If I cared at all, then I would not have modded my switch in the first place.

It is like a game installer store for switch games but the games/update/dlc file is shared on google drive. I mainly used it for update and dlc only.

hey bro make an emmunand and then install the real youtube app on the stock nand and you will be fine that's what i do also setup and run incognito on your emunand so you have 1 real switch and 1 phony one its perfect. vhange the theme colr to black on theemunand and then youll know which one you have loaded so thees no screwn ups.... enable airplane mode on both and just turn it off on the real nand when nessasary to avoid updates and also uncheck automatic updates

I got the correct patched YouTube app now, its the legit YouTube app from the eShop, but it's patched to work on banned devices... Not that I am banned or anything...

Dude I've downloaded and installed every Youtube NSP I found on google and still can't get the version 1.0.1, can you direct me to the right one?

that's cool and all but you will have to update it sooner or later when nintendshmo releases "stability patches to the firmware and blocks the current version your using.... if your indeed using the version 1.0.1 or whatever. My point from earlier is if your not banned yet, make and emmunand, put your roms and homebrew on there install and implement incognito on atmosphere by using available download here and then goto the shop on your REAL nand and grab youtube…. the updates direct from nintendshmo will keep it running smoothly saving you the reddit searching and the like. saves me a lot of time.

quick reboot via homebrew by rcm reboot app and then if autoload isn't enabled just choose stock fw and when you wanna use homebrew or roms reboot to rcm and choose emmunand…

hulu also works this way np witch for the ones who use it and don't wanna loose it this method works..... been going strong for me since the ability to use emmunand came out still not banned... oh an I keep airplane mode on witth wifi no 90dns on either to avoid update slams.... no complaints.... I've even tested real gamecarts on my real nand while maintain roms and hb on my emmunand... No errors or suprize banning

I am doing same thing with one of my switches. I am calling it smm2 switch now.
I got smm2 game cart in the switch and went online on atmosphere.

I made many levels and uploaded to both nintendo and mmlinx.
no ban yet

I only use my banned switch for modding SMM2 and SMO games.
I have youtube working great on my banned switch.

Honestly I onlyh read the first 2 lines of your reply. It doesn't really matter to me if I will have to update the app eventually, I have been modding for over a decade, and thats jsut how things work. Also Idcif I am banned or not... I don't plan on going back to OFW for a LONG time, if at all lol. If I end up getting banned and wanting to be on OFW, then I will just buy a second switch for non modded gameplay. they aren't expensive... Also, I used EmuNand on my 2ds/3ds's, works great.. but in my situation, I don't really need it. Thanks though.
