Unfortunately, I am having a hard time to see the difference once in game. I'll try other games...
the option for game is disabled by default. you need to enable it globally in settings > loader's settings > 480p fix patch
if you have a game which doesn't launch at all (like Prince of persia) you can disable that patch individually in each game settings.
but otherwise in the list the colon won't show.
are you using Wiitdb.xml ?
if you have it and enabled that feature, all the names will (should) be used from that file.
you can edit the xml manually if you want to see the : displayed in your title.
if it's already there, and it doesn't display in the loader then I don't know why.
if you don't use wiitdb, I recommend you do.
if you really want to name your games yourself instead of relying on the xml, you need to edit the title while inside the loader. (settings > GUI > game window : rotating disc) then select a game, and click on the title at the top of the rotating disc.
note that this renaming method always seems buggy to me.
Is there a current version which supports the download of geckocodes (ocarina) ? I read that there was an older version that uses another network lib, but I'd like to use the current one.
No.
This has nothing to do with the Version.
geckocodes.org uses an DDosS protection which prevents the USBLoader from download Codes directly.
I tried adding cookies to bypass the DDos protection, but then he is right, the website redirects to SSL connection, which is not supported anymore.
When I added it (r1253) the loader had lot of stability issues, so I removed SSL support later.
If you try r1253, it'll not work either, because the URL is still the old one (http) and the https is redirected automatically using javascript which is not supported by the loader. the loader accept 302 Redirect HTTP command, but not javascript.
no promise here but I'd like to try SSL again in a future version. if I can make a stable version it'll be useful for cheatcode, and nintendont (even if there's no more updates, it's always nice to be able to grab it from the loader, right?)
