So I had this N3DS for about a year now, I installed b9s as soon as I got it, no problems what so ever. Eventually I stopped using it for a bit. Then when I get back on it months later when I turn it on, it does one of 4 things, acts like the SD card isn't inserted (or blue light turns on and off), it will turn on but be at the glowing black screen, it will turn on, but randomly freeze at any given point, and the rarest option it will tell me my CTRNand failed to mount. I tried this h2w test to check if my SD card is alright and the software said my SD card was fine, so can someone help me figure this out? I haven't updated my luma and b9s firmware in forever though, but I can't exactly download it to the 3ds itself to see if that works. Any help is appreciated.

Luma is stored on your SD card as boot.firm and isn't downloaded to your 3ds. If you want to update Luma, you just have to put the new boot.firm on your SD card.

As for what you're seeing, well, it sounds like a miscellaneous hardware failure. Time for a new 3DS, maybe.

(You're not using an emunand for some strange reason, are you?)

Emunand, Im not sure if I am, but I remember seeing it somewhere. Perhaps it is on, by chance do you know how I can turn it off?

Also I don't think a new 3DS wouldnt be a good idea for my case. All I wanted to do was transfer all my Pokemon to the Pokemon bank. If I can do that, I wouldn't have a reason to touch the DS again. If I can just get my 3ds to work for a few minutes it's all I need

@Xdqwerty No you heard wrong, and don't believe till you experience yourself. Fallout 4 is one of my favorite games of all time. Yes it had issues early on, esp with older hardware like the xbox1, but it is awesome, esp now being 4k on Series S/X or PS5

@BigOnYa, Then i think people were talking about fallout 76
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
    that one was buggy too
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Yea you right there, fallout 76 was a letdown, but it not that bad now, they have fixed slot of issues they had at launch. Biggest issue with Fallout 76 is its a pay to advance further type of game, which sucks
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
