Kingdom Hearts III will soon be getting some new DLC content, as explained by the one-and-only Tetsuya Nomura. The announcement capped off the World of Tres Kingdom Hearts orchestral event that took place in Tokyo, Japan yesterday night. Nomura took to the stage to briefly discuss the upcoming content, which consists of a a new scenario, a bonus episode and a secret episode, as well as a secret boss to fight. No release date or price was given, but we do know the title of the DLC, which is called “ReMIND”. Those that don’t wish to make any further purchases will still benefit, as they’ll receive a free keyblade and form when ReMIND releases. Kingdom Hearts III launched earlier this January, and is currently available on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

They would benefit a shit ton more if they put it on the Switch. Who agrees with me on that?

Yes, that is what the switch needs, MORE PORTS.

At this point, switch is useless, it has nothing going for it aside from 2 games that are not on another platform, to give it even more garbage and ports is just useless.

And ofcourse the KH haters are in this comment section again. Anyway i'm glad they got rid of the Final mix version and are gonna do DLC instead and free DLC
It's not being haters just giving opinions and lots of players don't like the story background as it is very confusing and just not appealing - you luv it and thts great I'm sure you dislike some games and comment on them which others luv

well i do know that people like watered down stories that are easy to get but i do love a big story wich you have to play everything to understand. Same with movies why i prefer series over movies. And actually i never comment on games that i dislike. Because that's just my opinion and my opinion doesn't make the game automatically bad because i do understand it will be good for others so it's objective. So no i never comment hatefully on games i dislike

They always do this right about the time I’m done with the game. The only dlc I get is the kind most publishers would release as a sequel, like the Witcher 3 dlc. Maybe this will be good, but unless I get the game later on with all dlc included I’m not very tempted.

Oh boy, a $60 game that you can complete in less than 13 hours is getting DLC. Square Enix never ceases to disappoint.
In the NES, SNES, Megadrive, Mastersystem era games could be completed in less than 30 minutes but people never complained and praised the hell out of them, people nowadays complain about a game being 13h long. Gamers these days never ceases to disappoint.

You can’t really compare the two, those old games lasted and had replay ability since they were challenging and weren’t padded to take longer such as modern games. I can’t recall ever walking five feet to activate the next cutscene in an nes game. By the way, which 30 minute games are heavily praised from the era? I’m not talking about speed run time either...

This is exactly the same since you go randomly in to the world and experience the same gameplay you had with a game that you could finish in less than 30 minutes in that era. You replayed it for the gameplay so it is exactly the same

Except that didn’t happen... even shorter games from that era usually lasted atleast 2 hours if you knew exactly what you were doing. Those were non story no bs games that were highly replayable, the odd story based game back then like final fantasy was still 20 or so hours long. Hell even legend of Zelda takes around 10 hours to beat.

Eum i played a ton of games you could finish in less than 30 minutes actually. Basically all games were like that in that era. A few examples are
Tiny Toon Adventures: Buster Busts Loose, Wild guns, star fox can be finished in less than an hour, The magical quest, X men mutant apocalypse etc. Most are hack and slash, platformer games that you replay for the gameplay. In that essence you can also replay KH for the gameplay just like i already finished dream drop distance like 10 times, 358 2 days like 15 times, KH2 a hundred times etc. It is exactly the same but the difference is this game takes more then 13 hours to finish and you complain about the game time in general when SNES, NES games usually ended up being 30 minutes to 2 hours and nobody complained back then. If the game would only be 6 hours long i would understand your complaint about it not being long but a 13h minimum mark is actually long enough and don't get why you would complain about it being 13hours minimum. To me it sounds you're just trying to find another excuse to hate the game even more wich isn't justified atleast that complaint isn't. Pretty sure you're a person who likes the Metal gear solid games wich can actually be finished in less than 13 hours so why not complain about that ? Or shadow of the colussus that you can beat slowly in 6 hours give or take. God of war 2 around 9 hours. So why not complain about those games that take even less time to finish ??? To me that sounds like double standards and just finding unjustified reasons to hate.

The Switch is still successful with a shit ton of first-party and third-party games. The games that got ported only expand the range of options you have if you don't already own it.

What a thread. I played KH3 when it came out, took me about 35 hours to beat and I enjoyed it. It's definitely a very flawed game though. The story, like other people have said is honestly just straight up bad. They had so many different characters and plot points that they sort of tried to tie together in a 2 hour timespan at the very end of the game, and it just didn't work at all. The combat was alright, but magic and the attractions were incredibly overpowered. I might watch someone play this when it comes out, but I probably won't be buying it unless it's very cheap.

Without adding plot spoilers - they would need to massively overhaul the entire game to make it even an 8/10 game.
They would have to add in something like Hades Cup to bring back the Final Fantasy characters
They would have to add in more non-Disney worlds and expand Twilight Town 5x.
If it weren't from the nostalgia of the first two games on PS2, I would have rated this game like 6.5/10.

Nothx. Finished KHIII to never touch it again.
