As per the title I'm getting the above error, I can still launch my games from the sd card, but this error pops up at each boot. I can't access atmosphere settings either.
The only thing i did different is download the Kosmos defaults whereas normally i remove anything i won't use.
I deleted atmosphere, modules, sept & bootloader folders before updating.
I've tried using the repair archive bit option via hekate but that didn't help either.
I've also tried deleting the above folders and copying over the files again but same issue.

I had a similar thing happen to me, I am currently on FW 7.0.1 when I inject the payload (Hekate 4.10 + Atms 0.8.8), I am met with a black screen for a while and then the logo for Kosmos shows up but all garbled with vertical scan lines. Interestingly, I tried completely wiping everything on the SD card and downloading the Kosmos/atlus package on its own. Even more interesting, this issue only happened to one of the two sd cards I use for the switch.

As a test, I also decided to copy everything from the one sd card that worked to the other one that did not. No dice, the sd card still didin't work.

I ended up reverting back to Atmos 0.8.7 still using Hekate 4.10 and it works with both sd cards. I find that this version is more stable then the newer one. Even with the SD card that worked, I had frequent crashes and had to reboot often after exiting Homebrews like nx-shell, goldleaf, etc. I have not tested the newer version of Hekate at 4.10.1 at all so I have no idea if this works.

Short story: stick to atmost 0.8.7 for now.

Probably something got corrupted in your sd card. Are you on exfat?

Edit: since you fixed it forget what I've said.

It isn't fixed, yes its exFat.
I used windows to check for errors and it didn't find anything.

Well the boot screen is fine and it loads quickly. I guess i'll wait for an update, I can still play my games , I don't really touch atmosphere settings .

No gc is probably active, you can change the setting trough hekate

It was set to auto for me, changing the setting did nothing, removing the game card in the switch does remove the error but i still can't launch atmosphere settings.

I'm on firmware 6.2,updated via choidujournx
I can boot and play the gamecard games fine.
I tried 2 and both worked fine, I can try my others as well, but i don't think that will affect anything.
Literally the only issue i can see are the error and not being able to access atmosphere settings (which i haven't changed before).

I fixed the gamecard error by removing the game card and wiping it, but the atmosphere error is still there.

I FIXED IT! what i did is that i backed up my saves and deleted the game from my console, then reinstalled the updates and dlc trough Goldleaf and injected back my saves and it fixed it :3, i think that what happens is that the new CFW somehow corrupts data on EXFAT sd cards. idk
