You don't really have to use the thing to see how it would be annoying to take your Switch off the dock and have intended functionality - the game remaining open, you being able to continue playing - not work.
But when you know the game would stop working, you dont undock the thing while its running. The same way I don't unplug my console from the mains while its still running. I know what will happen if I did.

If I want to be able to undock whilst playing, I can install the XCI game. Its not like it's something I can no longer do at all.

Mario Odyssey worked in BlahBlahCFW. That island mini game collection didn't, though. Most stuff worked in the July 22nd BlahBlah CFW.

Yes, you and your 20 odd friends can enjoy the functionality that you enjoy, that is valid. That functionality does not remain a mainstream desire, though.

That's good for you. Enjoy what you're using and respect others.

Signature patches that provided 100% compatibility were first released by Reisyukaku around that date, if I remember correctly. I don't remember the CFW you mentioned.

That date sounds right, but I thought Reisyukaku did it first.

AFAIK ReiNX was released in a working state a few days later.

Yep, that's right. But ReiNX (at the time) did not support layeredFS, so there was no way to get Dev Menu running. What I did was bring the patches into Hekate, so you could use LayeredFS to boot Dev Menu so you could install Dev Menu. There was no Tinfoil or anything else yet.

The point of the Switch is not having to think about if you can undock or not. You are breaking core system functionality because you are too cheap to buy a large microSD card.

If "having to think" is an issue, I'm sorry TX can't do that for you as well. :P

EDIT
Also, its kinda dumb that you're touting a "free CFW" and then calling someone cheap for not buying a large SD card. And besides that dumb statement, you can't get 2TB mSD cards.

Oh boy, here we go again.

The Paint part was a joke but apparently you really want to see my sick Paint skills. Honestly I don't even know why I bother with you. Nonetheless I will try one more time, this time with a quote-by-quote approach.

You sure did, nothing wrong with that yet.

Again, we established that already. But the contradiction didn't lie in there. The contradiction lies in your stated balance of people interested in emuNAND (according to you, only "some") and people not interested in emuNAND (according to you, "a lot of"). Your conclusion that a minority will be the end of SX OS is illogical and contradict with your reasoning given.

I agreed with you that an Atmosphere emuNAND will hit SX OS. I never, not even once, agreed with you that Atmosphere's emunand will be the final nail in the coffin for SX OS. Please stop telling lies.

Accoring to you only "some".

Yup, the same people we were talking about.

No kidding. I think we established that a dozen times or so.

See my comment above.

You did not. You are just repeating the fact SX OS will lose some sales over and over. We already established that. How often do you intend to beat the dead horse? How is that an answer to my questions?
I'll read through this and respond when I'm not at work.

Why not use layeredfs to load .xci? using "a seed of a pre-installed game", although they trick the system into loading files into a MicroSD, could EmuNand also change that route to USB? I see that most comments are "limited" talk about the subject, when using RetroArch is loading "backup copies". Sincerely SciresM and other Scene already enjoy Emunand, USBLOADER, and the only ones that have sold these "modules" is Team Xecuter because they have paid for those features ...

Will there be someone who is not involved with SciresM and Scene who is working on EmuNand via USB and an evolution of layeredfs?

Yeah, please don't speculate if you aren't technically proficient. None of that is logical or valid or on the right track in technological terms.

If you bring the " point of the switch " here then what are you doing here ? this place is all about modding/hacking the switch and i am sure that is not the point nintendo intended for the switch..

By the way if there is a day if / when a cfw has all sxos features for free then thats when it will be the nail in the coffin not only for sxos but for atmosphere too.

The Scene has become too mediocre. If I knew Hardware programming and dedicated myself to this by "hobbie", I would have released everything that the "scene demands in an embedded system"

There is no such thing as 'hardware programming', and it's 'hobby' and not 'hobbie'. Also, no one cares what pirates on GBAtemp 'demand'.

ah yes ?, if it is a "hobby" then what is it ?, a "movement against expensive videogames? hahaha and if there is no hardware programming, then how to program a chip" embedded "Nintendo Switch, with "no programming" ? jajajajajajajajaj

.....

Why would you need to feed firmware to embedded anything in order to write an XCI loader? It's trivial, it just hasn't been done in public on account of that being solely useful for warez....

You know less than I even imagined. I should have known better than to assume that you meant 'how to program (write software)' as opposed to 'how to feed firmware to a device, for no relevant reason'.

What about FPGAs?
Thank you for reminding me, but we are not talking about re-programmable chip, if not factory-programmable ... or so that this man understands, without RW. And even then it's not even the issue, I talk about hardware programming for "modification"

Honestly, what the hell are you even talking about? What are the ends you hope to achieve by programming (with firmware) a chip?

Well, from what I've heard from my parents, he had a seizure last night, perhaps an epileptic episode, fucking died, had a near death experience, my dad called the paramedics, they showed up, took him to the hospital, and he woke up covered in tubes, and started complaining.
