Is it worth making some "non-keyed" firmware archives? ie ready-partitioned/foldered rather than nca files.

I think any "tools" that can be used for repair are essential to the community. Feel free to send me pack's and I will host in the same directory for people wishing to repair their switches.
Given what @linuxares has asked me to do, they could be helpful, I'm yet to try with the modified boot files, but the more we have the better chance we have of been able to undo bricks if it ends up working.

As long as you have the required files (shared keys and your console bis keys) and can still get into rcm, as long as you read the guide properly and do not press format manual downgrade should work
no, the biskeys are used in hacdiskmount, you need the shared/hactool keys which can be googled or dumped with lockpick_Rcm

I remember a very long time ago someone had some ...less than legitimate files floating around. They had set up a gmail account with a vacation responder to auto respond with the link to the file whenever emailed and provided the email here.
Is that something that could be set up in this case, or is that too against ToS nowadays?

@minestory sorry but not okey to ask for that. Xbins got the files if you need them, else you can google darthsternie and you will find what you're looking for, and they work without extra editing.
It's fine, you didn't mean anyharm. We don't know how nintendo feel about firmwares being dumped. So we just take the safe approach. But if you google what I said, you will find them in installable mode.
