Don't think Atmosphere devs take donations
cant you backup your saves if you are on a lower fw than 7.x?I am waiting mostly because I have to backup my saves xD
Quite honestly, I doubt someone like you could earn $30 an hour.
Man these SX users sure are on fire here...
Also most of the countries you listed have same or better average income than Australia.
This thread has gone way off topic & turned into a debate. The facts are sx os has its benefits but atmosphere cfw is free & updated pretty quickly.
That usb loading really gets you far in portable mode huh?
sorry you got swindled into paying for freeware~
"You can't afford $30" against all those people wanting to donate to coders to keep coding. Hm...
As the old argument goes (especially from pirates) - why buy something when you can have it for free? How many people do you know who have donated for legit copies of WinRAR, WinZIP, 7Zip, notepad++ etc.etc.?
ahaha maybe in the USA you have low wages, but here in Australia (you know, one of the countries that wasn't so affected by the GFC?) $30+ per hour is common and yeah I could be earning more in my field, but frankly I like working in suburban / regional areas as I detest working in major data centres in the city centre, I did that with FTI Consulting for 8 years.
I've worked in I.T. for 20+ years - code development, MS SQL and MS server admin, plus worked in video game development before that back in the 90s. Before that I worked on a research Army base for 10 years. I don't take no shit nor do I give it unless the person I'm dealing with shows me first they are an idiot. Guess what dookie? You've shown yourself to be an idiot.
oh look.. 1 country (the USA) has a higher average income than Australia than all the countries I listed.. but only if you look at the average, the nominal salary in Australia is higher than the USA and all the other countries I listed.
how about presenting facts instead of incorrect arguments and data?

The original point of this post was to shit stir SX OS users with no firmware 7.x support - but there's currently no need to be on firmware 7.x other than FOMO.
EVERY single post where SX OS is mentioned turns into an off topic shit slinging match with the usual ANTI SX OS monkeys trying to turn themselves into soft serve machines in order to produce and throw as much shit as quickly as possible.

yeah it does.. there are these remarkable things called ''portable'' USB HDDs (they are small at only 2.5" in size and draw power from the switch) that can store the entire Switch library on them.. or if the 2.5" box is too large for you there are physically smaller USB sticks that can store games and directly plug into the switch.
Neither of the above solutions need to be connected in docked mode and the benefit is the devices mentioned usually store a lot more information and are substantially cheaper than the usual SD storage cards. (read it slowly.. oh wait.. of course you will... so you might understand it then on first reading).
sorry you're still waiting for the conveniences offered by SX OS to be available in freeware CFW, don't worry I'm sure they'll come eventually.

The USB Loading is great for handheld mode, I have several USB-C Thumbdrives I keep in my switch case for taking on the go. Sorry you can't afford $30~
yeah usb loading is so comfortable... I love having 30 4gb pendrives lying around and one 256gb bulky external hard drive. Switching those every 10 minutes is super fun!
sorry you can't afford a high capacity micro SD card and have to content with a cheap 30 dollar piece of software
i can only begin to imagine how stupid you look changing those out~ sorry you cant afford a decent size sd card like a normal person because you got scammed out of $30 for that " paid freeware"The USB Loading is great for handheld mode, I have several USB-C Thumbdrives I keep in my switch case for taking on the go. not as stupid as i would look getting my laptop out or mobile out with a usb cable connected to my switch to send a payload, when i can use my SX pro dongle, people are amazed by how small it is.
scammed out of $30, SX has features freeware CFW doesn't have , also whats $30 when games cost $60 here, buying games at $60 a time that's a scam and stupid
uhm... you know that's not an exclusive thing, right?

10 dollars
how much was SX Pro again?
Did you just seriously call the SX dongle a "work of art" as evidence for why it's significantly more expensive than comparable dongles?you can't compare that to the SX pro dongle, I've got a R4s dongle to i bought off ebay for like $15 delivered as a spare, I've not even powered it on. seriously you cant compare it to a SX dongle. its a work of art.
well i think i paid just over $50 for the Sx pro, a bargin when you look at what you get, SX CFW,the best dongle and a excellent jig.
hahaha its literally the same thing without a sxos sticker on it.. please keep talking out your ass about how great your "paid freeware" is, really making yourself look smart here~
