ahaha maybe in the USA you have low wages, but here in Australia (you know, one of the countries that wasn't so affected by the GFC?) $30+ per hour is common and yeah I could be earning more in my field, but frankly I like working in suburban / regional areas as I detest working in major data centres in the city centre, I did that with FTI Consulting for 8 years.
I've worked in I.T. for 20+ years - code development, MS SQL and MS server admin, plus worked in video game development before that back in the 90s. Before that I worked on a research Army base for 10 years. I don't take no shit nor do I give it unless the person I'm dealing with shows me first they are an idiot. Guess what dookie? oh look.. 1 country (the USA) has a higher average income than Australia than all the countries I listed.. but only if you look at the average, the nominal salary in Australia is higher than the USA and all the other countries I listed.

The original point of this post was to shit stir SX OS users with no firmware 7.x support - but there's currently no need to be on firmware 7.x other than FOMO.
EVERY single post where SX OS is mentioned turns into an off topic shit slinging match with the usual ANTI SX OS monkeys trying to turn themselves into soft serve machines in order to produce and throw as much shit as quickly as possible.

yeah it does.. there are these remarkable things called ''portable'' USB HDDs (they are small at only 2.5" in size and draw power from the switch) that can store the entire Switch library on them.. or if the 2.5" box is too large for you there are physically smaller USB sticks that can store games and directly plug into the switch.
Neither of the above solutions need to be connected in docked mode and the benefit is the devices mentioned usually store a lot more information and are substantially cheaper than the usual SD storage cards. (read it slowly.. oh wait.. of course you will... so you might understand it then on first reading).
sorry you're still waiting for the conveniences offered by SX OS to be available in freeware CFW, don't worry I'm sure they'll come eventually.

I said that I doubt that you are earning $30 judging by how you act and talk, I’m not saying that Australian wages are low. I actually have relatives and friends living there but they aren’t as patriotic as you are.
yeah usb loading is so comfortable... I love having 30 4gb pendrives lying around and one 256gb bulky external hard drive. Switching those every 10 minutes is super fun!
sorry you can't afford a high capacity micro SD card and have to content with a cheap 30 dollar piece of software

4gb drives, I've got a 256gb sd card, a not 'bulky' 520gb SSD drive and if i wanted i could connect using the dock a 6tb hdd i use for archiving games.
I know there are many school kids and students on here who cant afford to buy hardware or games , but if you can afford to buy a switch and buy games, then surely you can afford $50 to buy a SX Pro, with its excellent dongle and jig.
I can afford to buy most things, but I never pay full price for anything, I wait for a deal to come along or buy off ebay etc.
Atmos might not take donations because they don't want to attract more attention by making profit from what they do. Here in the UK the gov tells us money from piracy funds the criminals and the drug trade
I'm a fan of SX, but that didn't stop me making a donation to Rajkosto for his excellent programs, how many of you SX haters have donated ?

you can't compare that to the SX pro dongle, I've got a R4s dongle to i bought off ebay for like $15 delivered as a spare, I've not even powered it on. seriously you cant compare it to a SX dongle. its a work of art.well i think i paid just over $50 for the Sx pro, a bargin when you look at what you get, SX CFW,the best dongle and a excellent jig.

you look now. the SX dongle is a master piece, the others poor brick size imitations.
yes it is, I've got a R4s and I've seen the other brick size ones. the SX dongle was the first mass produced one and still the best after 8 months.
how is it significantly more expensive ? . it cost me 15$ for the R4s, and say $50 for the Sx pro , take $30 for the SX license, 5$ for the excellent jig, that leaves $15 for the Sx dongle. same price and a lot better.
