Darkest Dungeon II announced to be in development

Red Hook Studios has given a short teaser announcing Darkest Dungeon II. According to an interview with the developers, the follow up their 2016 roguelike RPG will feature a revamped version of the first game's combat system, improving upon it and adding new game mechanics. Red Hook also announced that they'll be developing the game with four times the staff on board as compared to the original, having plans to bring their total employee count up to 20, as opposed to when they created Darkest Dungeon with only 5 people. The game has no release date, but it will be coming soon to Steam through Early Access.
