I haven't use the time code, does the game get stuck at the end of the stage with unlimited timer count down like other Mario games?

They work. You could be doing it wrong (e.g. use Mac to create/put folder into the SD without "chflags -R arch" fix).

I'm sick of not finding them but getting them. They're too tricky because levels of both of these games was made with Boost Mode in mind.

It does not work for me as soon as I put it on and activate the cheats a warning is triggered the program has been closed because of an error.
