Hardware Can I use one ps3 controller with a ps vita and ps tv?

When I switch between the ps vita and ps tv I have to pair my ps3 controller again. Is that normal? Is there a work around for this? Do I need to buy a second ps3/ps4 controller so that one controller is paired with my ps vita and the other controller is paired with my ps tv?

basically. yes

just like if you use a DS4, you need to pair it with the ps4 and the pstv each time

My ps3 ds3 controller can only have one master at any given time. If I wanted to use the ds3 controller with a different console then I would have to pair it.

yes, that's what we're saying, you need to repair each time you attach it to a different console
