& I'm talking about the resolution the switch is capable of due to hardware limitations.
Hdmi 1.4 3840×2160 (UHD) at 24 Hz/25 Hz/30 Hz

I was asking the OP why he didn't use hardware acceleration of the Tegra X1 - doesn't matter what Switch can output, internally it can process any video easily.

Hi, the video/audio is probably too demanding for the switch (currently) :/ Can I ask you the video/audio resolution/codec/bitrate?
Yes no problem, here's the info. According to my switch it's h264 @2929 kb/s, 720p with aac 4800hz audio. What and how should I convert the video to?

I've noticed that small MP4 videos often stall for a second or two and then jump to catch up. I'm on SX OS 2.5 Beta with exFAT SD, and it was a 720p MP4 encoded with h.264 video and mp3 audio streams.

tried 3 vids, 2 720p h264 anime, 1 1080p from the online sources, crashes every time after 1/2sec at the star of the vid. (even with highest buffer option) (OC is on)

I play XCI files, and don't want to fuck with file splitting. I hate that shit so much.
USB and network installation are very convenient if you're using Fat32, and I'd highly recommend those methods for it.
