Hi,
So I've finally decided to hack my 4.1.0 Switch, and I'm running into issues with the initial 'good' backup. The problem I'm having is verifying that the backup is any good before I start messing around with CFW (bit late as I assumed it would be, but oh well). They never seem to 'verify'.
Steps I've taken:
When loading any of the 30GB rawnand.bin file in HackDiskMount, the BIS keys I use always 'fail entropy' tests - which I think means my back up is corrupt, and I couldn't restore if it I needed to? I've tried version 1044 and 1055.
Other things I've noticed:
My BOOT0 (but not BOOT1) files change regularly. Should this be the case without a firmware update?
My rawnand.bin.01-14 are always identical, the only file that changes is rawnand.bin.00
Dumping everything using Hakete, and then doing a full dump again using Hakete, results in identical files. Rawnand.bin.00 seem to only change after I boot into either CFW or Horizon (which I'd expect if timestamps and other items are stored in there).
How do I verify I've done a backup I recover from - or even start troubling shooting which tool isn't producing correct results?!
Thanks

Steps I've taken:
- 4 separate Full GPP backups in Hakete. I'm using a 16GB card so the files are split into 14 different chunks. Verification always succeeds. I've tried version 4.5 and 4.6.
- 4 separate Boot 0/1 backups in Hakete.
- Dumped keys/BIS keys in several different ways using different tools (all come out identical)
- Merged all of the backups together and then tried to load them in HacDiskMount
