Yeah, got today my patchable Switch and since my usual forum (german) is offline I will ask here... I am on 4.1
I already started hekate and backuped the NAND without problems.

My problem is now that I can´t get a CFW to install.
I have used the Guide on switchguide.xyz for atmosphere and
the reinx.guide for ReiNX.

My problem is that when I do everything what they say that there is an short Splashscreen of the CFW and then I get an black screen.
i.e.: launching atmosphere over hekate -> splashscreen -> black and RCM disconnect
sending Reinx.bin over Tegra to the Switch -> splashscreen -> black and RCM disconnect

What is wrong here?
Can please somebody tell me how to push the CFW?

I know that I can upgrade with ChoiConjur, but where do I get the new firmware from without an cartridge?

PS: Do I get this right? .xci is only for sx-os?

What format is your sd card FAT32 or exFAT?

Yeah, you are right. 4.0.1 does not support exFAT.
I now changed the SD to FAT32 and there is a tiny change.

When I send the payload from TegraRCM or start it from hekate I get to see some output (something about kips) then I get to see the Splashscreen and then it starts into Nintendo. The system tells me that it´s AMS.
Now, what exactly am i supposed to do from here? What program do I have to install? (Those nro files go into "switch" folder, right?)

2.) Reinx still does not install. I do everything like in the guide but it only starts the Splashscreen then into Nintendo. Or is there no indicator at all that I loaded it and this is already it?

Edit:
Ah never mind, Reinx is also loaded as the Album shows it.

Just a question regarding loading the CFW. When I use AutoRCM I don´t have to use my Paperclip anymore, but do I still have to use a PC to push Hekate for Atmosphere or the Reinx bin?

These cfw's dont install like your thinking.

Once booted up, go check the albums folder. Should be your homebrew section, thats where those NROs get listed... Be sure to backup using hekate before doing anything else.

Edit oops went to page 24 lol:

If you ever use the internet set your DNS using 90DNS.

Then read up about auotRCM, some people dont like it and say it uses battery. I say a dead battery is better than a burnt fuse.

Unless you have an internal mod chip like the Trinket m0, then you would need a way to push the payload onto the system like using a computer or RCM dongle.

So, I get the CFW´s to run and have probably bakupped everything.

My question is just: How do I update the firmware and get exfat?
I have found ChoiConjour, but how am I supposed to get the original file for it? According to Reinx I have to download under System with the official updater, but 6.2 is not supported currently. So, how to get to 6.1?

Whatever you do, try your best to NEVER boot to OFW unless you have to, and always through hekate. As for exFAT, you dont really need it. And its notorious for corrupting the SD on the switch (especially homebrew). Better to stick to FAT32 and instal large files over USB.

Finding the firmwares you want, you'll have to figure out on your own, i'm pretty sure links to all this isnt allowed here. Its not too hard to find out the the naming of the files and google it...

Thank´s. Just flashed to 6.1
Why would I need to boot into OFW? btw, how do I even deactivate AutoRCM when it was activated by ChoiDonour which apparently has no settings? :O

Ahh I didn´t know that I can use USB. But I guess I would just prefer ftp.
