Current status of working/failing formats:
- Working: MP4, MKV, WMV, 3GP, FLV
- Partially (some files worked, others didn't): AVI, WEBM
- Not supported: H264 codec (we would need libx264 which isn't still ported for switch)

This means that they CAN BE SUPPORTED - current beta release only supports loading MP4 files!
Don't worry, I'll add support for all the other files on the next release, plus a menu to select videos from "media" folder!

Was just looking for something like this last night. Can’t wait for it to be in a more usable state. Will keep any eye on this. Many thanks to the developer!

This is a great first release! Though there can't be many .mp4 files which don't use at least H264.

I appreciate the work placed into this but why not just port KODI over with a theme that fits the Switch? Isn't that player open source?
So is FFMPEG. Porting over FFMPEG is much simpler than porting a huge application like Kodi. Kodi uses FFMPEG anyway.
