Yes. For any of the switch hacks out right now (except for something like pegaswitch and the old 3.0 hblauncher) you need to go into rcm mode. Send a payload, and then your done. The payload is just telling the switch to boot a file from the sd card basically. And then disconnect?
Well then stop being so entitled to get your answers and lazy about looking for the info you want, even if you use polite words it is still annoying, this is not software yoy are purchasing, this is freeware and the effort of people who want to contribute to the Switch hacking community, and if you are not contributing then stop being like this and wait for confirmation about the features that you want.Sorry, if im being a bother for everyone else, But that attitude reallly pisses me off.
Faced this Problem too...Hi @All, can someone give me a hint what could be wrong if lakka does not boot ?
I have tried to send the payload from linux and Android, I've tried the official recommanded app and also Rekado, every other Payload boots well in RCM, I can boot SX OS with the original DOngle or send any other payload with Linux or Android
only Lakka will not boot, the screen stays black and I have to press 12sec the power button to get access back and boot something else.
Is there any requirement I miss ?
I have downloaded the latest release, extracted the tar archive and moved the lakka folder on the fat32 formatted SD card.
After this I've booted into RCM and runned the payload.
cbfs.bin and coreboot.rom are available
Many thanks in advance
Thx, I have again checked all files and my coreboot.rom had different md5sum I have replaced all files and this time it bootet, not sure where I've found the wrong file or if it was a copy issueFaced this Problem too...
You might have the wrong cbfs/coreboot.
Had that same issue, causing it to halt at "URB status: -2" with Switch Linux Launcher for Android, but now with replaced payload files, I get that it's successful (that I have been served), but my Switch is still sitting on a blank screen. Works fine with the Windows method.Thx, I have again checked all files and my coreboot.rom had different md5sum I have replaced all files and this time it bootet, not sure where I've found the wrong file or if it was a copy issue
Go get Rekado.Had that same issue, causing it to halt at "URB status: -2" with Switch Linux Launcher for Android, but now with replaced payload files, I get that it's successful (that I have been served), but my Switch is still sitting on a blank screen. Works fine with the Windows method.
Had made a thread earlier today about this for both Switch Linux Launcher and Rekado. Both say they are successful, but my Switch sits with a blank screen.Go get Rekado.

Well if the Windows Method works then I guess your files are okay.Had made a thread earlier today about this for both Switch Linux Launcher and Rekado. Both say they are successful, but my Switch sits with a blank screen.
It's a Galaxy S8.Well if the Windows Method works then I guess your files are okay.
It could be that your phone is not supported

@0xCCD
I checked my card, and saw a bunch of fsck files too. So I just formatted my card and starting over. Of md5 check sums, my cbfs.bin is the same, but my coreboot.bin is different. I grabbed the "Oops again" commit from their repository, but perhaps I should grab the one that I had from the Windows method, since that worked for booting (D428067A9F15974098F59281C8F2AD9). Will post with results.
Gave what I attempted a try multiple times. Android app method still doesn't work. Windows method still does though. I'll give the archive version you mentioned a try.Looking forward to here from your result, you can also consider to use the files from the 7z archive in #post-8228033 (Sorry I am not allowed to post a link), it contains the exact md5sum which I've mentioned
Oh it is? I see that it mentions wired joycons and touch screen work, but I can't find anything on the Lakka Switch FAQ addressing my specific problem. It's in the FAQ
