So i'm assuming i'm not the only one who has tried sleep mode whilst a game is running and come to try to turn it on again and it needing Power cable removal etc for it to start?
I mean, it really does seem to hose things up good, needing power cable removal, pressing power button a bunch of times (and it turns itself off or ignores turning on) then it boots eventually and does a disk scan, reboots again and then you're good to go.
I've had the ps4 crash on me a bunch of times in the past few years and, the worst that usually happens is turning it off and on again, doing a disk check..
does anyone know of a technical explanation as to why getting the ps4 to come back to life is such a faff? it really just feels like you're going through the motions to re-animate a corpse
