ROM Hack Question Extracting preloaded games?

I haven't seen anyone post about this yet. Since the Switch allows pre-loading for some games. Is all the data downloaded for the game when you preload, or partial?

Can the preloaded games be extracted once installed to the Switch?

I was wondering about the same thing, since Pokemon will be preloadable a month earlier than actual release.

If it's installed on the device I'm sure it can be extracted but I'm not sure... If it's only partial data, than I guess it's useless .If it's full data, we goochie?

All the data, but it can't be extracted without the ticket which gets downloaded on release.

Interesting thank you. But wouldn't something like SX OS be able to bypass that?

Look up preloading on the 3DS, the game will be complete, but the decryption seed is missing, thus preventing us from playing or even accessing the game's files before release.
