Hi good people. I really hate making threads out of things that don't need it but I cannot figure this out.

I'm running 5.1.0 (SX OS) and would like a Snes emulator that works, if that exists. hhave tried both versions of Snes9x on hbAppStore the Nå-version starts but gives crappy sound, the non-nx doesn't start at all.

psnes just seems like a lot of work with databases and whatnot.

My question is: is the a working Snes emulator for switch?

Thanks in advance, and I'm sorry if "this has been answered before". I haven't found the answer.

ah! Ok, I understand. is Psnes "the best one" ?
My wife and I like to play docked also and fire up some Allstars and Wold, does it work

Yeah psnes is pretty stable albeit with some minor issues that are being worked on:
- No local multiplayer yet
- Going into sleep mode makes it very slow (so you'll have to it home button and restart it)

Snes9x 2010 is my preferred emu, but I would like to get something with a better UI because the basic UI on retroarch is ugly as sin

Psnes doesn't work at all for me. After loading .smc it just displays some text. tried with 8 different roms now.

I actually had this same problem with pSNES, when loading a rom it would crash at the screen where it displays text info about the rom. BUT, this only occurred if I booted the homebrew using SX OS. If I booted pSNES using Hekate - CTCaer mod v2.3, it worked swimmingly. (I didn't even have to delete database files or whatever, just dumped roms in the roms folder) Played Super Mario World and Super Mario RPG with no noticeable issues.

pSNES is AMAZING! I just wrote a few things in that thread after having issues with it. Get the CTC cfw and use that or wait around for TX to fix things for you all.
