I'm doing something wrong? Just dumped my Mario Kart 7 and my cert is empty (filled with 00's). I'm in 5.1.0

I'm re-dumping it right now, I might had screwed it while opening it on XCI-Reader.

EDIT: Redumped and now it's fine, thanks for this great tool.

Hey guys, recently found out there is a newer version of the game card dump tool. I dont know if it works with the new cartridges, but this one gives the option to just dump the game certificate, so you don't have to dump the whole game.

Then I essentially have a private headered game?

If you dump a game with there isn't any point in using a scene dump

Those though that already stocked up on BBBs now can just rip a cert from their own. Way quicker / efficient.

I have seen some claims that the cartridges have more checks in place if there is a foreign header injected, like from a game that is not the same but not from games that are the same. But we will have to wait and see for more confirmation.

we need github repo and source so this app can be improved on. Also funny how it leaked from reswitched discord a group that bans you just talking about backups and piracy and loaders even tho it seems they all along had a cartridge dumper.

Because making backups are legal, distributing them is not.
