What's with everyone seeing an ancient helmet and instantly saying it's Greek or Spartan? That's idiotic beyond words, how much are you people generalizing?:/ It's nothing like Greek or Spartan helmets, it's more like a Roman one (Roman ones had the pointless huge top with the hairs) and even then, it's more of those movies use (which have absolutely no actual resemblance to how real helmets were) than actual helmet, so why are people just making assumptions?

On the main issue though, why is this even in the front page on here? Do we report on cancer games too or games that are exactly the same? What's next? Making a new thread on here for every new player released in "Live Service" "games"?

They did Rome before.

Anyways, insider sources claim it's Greek, regardless what you presume the helmet to be.

Uh...did the Assassin's Creed games hurt you in some way? A game is a game, even if you don't like it. Check literally every outlet too, they reported the same thing we did. It's a supposed leak of a huge AAA game series. That's a big deal.

Guess they had the plan to call the Greece one Odyssey just the moment they had the idea to make a Greece one which most likely was years before the release of the last 3D Mario. It's really a no-brainer to call it that way and I also don't see that much of a problem since not too many people going to play both games.

They didn't hurt me, but they have and are hurting the industry you know, reason I don't consider them as anything but bad. You just said it, "a huge AAA game series", that's what's so bad. The big deal is that big games get reported on while smaller ones are left in obscurity despite being way better and actually doing something original. Name the last time AC did ANYTHING original past AC1 and I guess I'll agree with you

Ubisoft might make irksome lootboxes decisions but the industry wouldn't exist at all without heavy hitter franchises that bring in the large amounts of money.

Plus, plenty of indies get reported on, along with mobile titles and reviews for niche games.

Assassin's Creed 1 didn't even do anything revolutionary. It was just evolved Prince of Persia + new IP tech demo. The series didn't really go places until 2 defined it. Once it hit 3 it was virtually out of ideas, but it created a long lasting franchise that helps Ubisoft be a major industry player and let them publish other games that are smaller in focus anyways.

But it's a video game. I'd expect things to be more movie than realistic.
