VA-11 HALL-A comes to Switch and PlayStation 4
After being tentatively announced back in April, Sukeban Games has confirmed that their indie cyberpunk game, VA-11 HALL-A would be releasing on not only the Nintendo Switch, but the PlayStation 4 as well. Originally slated for "around Christmas", the release window has been moved to early 2019, and it'll be available as a digital-only title in the west, for $14.99. Copies of the game will be physical in Japan, and they will come with a full english localization for those that want to pick the game up in cart/disc format. VA-11 HALL-A originally released in 2016 for PC, and later got ported to the PlayStation Vita.
VA-11 HALL-A puts a twist on traditional point and click games with the story branching based on bartending decisions. Chat with customers and serve them life-changing drinks as Jill, a bartender at a dive bar frequented by average citizens in a cyberpunk future ruled by megacorporations.
With 24 drinks to concoct, there is no one correct drink to serve in any given situation, as characters are impacted by whatever cocktail they are poured. Every character that comes through has a story to tell which reveals more about both their lives and the futuristic Glitch City, run by the mysterious Zaibatsu Corp.
