Next build is almost ready; it will have:

- Changeable backgrounds (single bg or randomly picked from a folder), including a cropping wizard to cut larger images and fit them for the app. Miharu will still be defaulted though on first run and protected.
- 7zip support. neither 7zip nor rar will require a DLL in the hard disk, they are loaded to ram from the exe. (for zip I don't even use a dll)
- basic brick protection
- much deeper detection and fix of improperly trimmed roms
- speed improvements
- rom header info

To do after that build:
- through scan for brickers
- game cheats engine
- arm7 fix
- rom browser with the games icons

No fix yet for 9x and wine for this build, sorry ;( (the problem is definitely the background hack protection)

If I need to add more compression formats from now on it will be a breeze as long as there's a DLL to interface with, I re-organized all my code for that; although having zip/rar/7zip.. dunno if we need anything else.

edit: oh I forgot, also an option to check for new version on start-up

It will still be encripted to avoid removing the initial bg, but I have a fix in mind for wine, and maybe a real linux binary too (not this version tho)

I don't know if this is just an issue with 0.50 or what, but when I trimmed Zelda, it didn't say anything about the seeing WiFi. Is 0.50 not supposed to show if it detected WiFi? I never really paid attention before.

It could be that the offset specified in the header already points to the rom size+wifi block, in which case the wifi area is still preserved. I saw that with a few of the latest roms

I just trimmed a few games. Amongst them were Bleach DS 2nd, Tetris DS, and Pokemon Pearl.

However, the program only said it detected 1 Wi-Fi game. Is this what you said above or something else. How would I know if it messed it up? I'm pretty sure only Bleach DS 2nd was detected as a Wi-Fi game. (By doing them again fresh 1 at a time)

I already commented on this a few pages back, I found many roms from 700..800 onwards whose rom offset info in the header already points to the end of the wifi data block, so there is no way to detect that (besides using a database). In either case, the wifi data is preserved, rest assured it doesn't mess up anything.
