is it alright to buy a handheld with a cracked LCD screen?

is it OK to buy used handheld consoles that has a slight crack on the LCD screen?

sometimes the tiny crack on the screen is so small that it's barely noticeable, but still, i figured i should atleast ask for everyone's expert opinion on this first before i buy.
i mean, its not like these cracks will get bigger and bigger with time right?

It may get bigger depends on how bad it is. I don't really see it being an issue just by looking at it.

What I would do is put a good screen protector on it to prevent further damage.

From my experience small cracks need way less "force" to become a large crack than a flawless screen. I'd never buy a cracked screen if I don't plan to replace it.

Nope, I simply wont buy it. Buying that handheld with a damaged screen may represent great savings compared to the cost of a good one. Repairing it later can destroy your savings and turn it into expense.

I'd only buy if he/she's selling for very cheap. The screen can be replaced.

Just look if it's cheap to replace screen, if yes then do it. If it's even possible to replace by yourself the its a win win
