ROM Hack I can't decrypt/extract Minecraft for New 3DS

Using the modified Ohana, I can replace some things, but other things like resourcepack don't get modified. So far the only things I was able to successfully edit and have reflect ingame are the credits and skins. I'm assuming the json file needs to be changed as well, although I don't know if that's actually true, it's based off a guess.
Also, I'd like to thank @AnalogMan for linking that tweet with the modified Ohana.

i've managed to get the romfs to extract (reverted to v9 of the PackHack Toolkil as V11 just wants nothing to do w/ a GM9 Dump) and i grabbed smb's modified Ohana3DS, but :/ now im getting the new hurdle of getting it to import the .3DST models :/

Are you using the BCH texture replacer under tools? You can't import them through the file menu. :(
Even still, it seems the BCH replacer doesn't like some 3dst files. (Mainly the main menu's background files, it seems.)

ok i thought it had to in the main menu, i tried quickly peaking at the FSB Audiofiles all i can tell its in a FSB5 format :/ no luck playing/converting.

Just peering thru it's code.bin from teh exefs, this may be base don MPCE 0.15.4 RC2. its referanced as the Workspace "Silverfish (3DS)" and seems to be in actually FMOD4 but the actual audio for music and SFX is in fsb5 file format. :/
looks like they Could be adjusted Render distance and such settings ist seen towards lower end of the code.bin (i dont have IDA so i'm lookin thru an Hex Editor)
(sorry editing as i peer thru theres referances in here to what was Multiplayer modes that was scrapped or will be enabled w/ a later update.

The audio files are very weird. Although, using someone's sample template from the World of Tanks forum in FMOD designer, I got the main menu music to change. That's as far as I went with audio, because I don't understand how to use FMOD Studio or how the files work. I feel like I got really lucky with this, since the template had a "main_menu" section within the unbuild file, so I just deleted everything else, build and renamed it, and it worked.
Though, it seems like the FSB files that the game uses are a different form of FSB5, it seems to accept just anything that's FSB. (I think. I didn't think to analyze the FSB I built off the template.)

With the 3dst textures, I got most of the files to load except the ones in images\gui\backgrounds and the logo files in the gui folder. Everything else worked just fine, and could be modified, though it seems the uvs are upside down from what Ohana displays. (I assume that's just a normal thing though, and not related to Ohana.)
The only other things I did was replace one of the skins with my JE skin, and play with the credits file. I haven't really messed with the game since.
I think it's kind of strange that they would use such different formats than most other 3DS games do. I was really hoping it'd be way easier to modify than it is. :/

Potentially. Depending on how it saves maps. If I can find where the game actually saves, I want to try injecting a map from the old Mcregion generator to see how it handles old maps.
JKSV doesn't work with it sadly. ;-;
There's a chance that it'll encrypt the saves, which wouldn't be fun at all.
