The only existing one on PC. Just google it.Which emulator are you talking about?
Okay. I see that one you're referring to. What about the MAME/MESS version? The only existing one on PC. Just google it.
When I feel like it, I'll try it out.Okay. I see that one you're referring to. What about the MAME/MESS version?
Personally, I think up to Wii is a given.
3DS: Probable, switch is powerful enough.
WII U: Possible/Maybe, There are already remakes of mk8 and Pokken from the Wii U which are upscaled. (I know emulating and porting are different) In terms of specs, it's possible.
The 3DS uses the same architecture as the Switch, so it would be far less heavy to emulate3DS: not sure, may be slow, but doable
It'll never be a waiting game for me because I'm enjoying my 3.60 retroarch Vita. Once the Switch is hacked I think we'll get stable 8 and 16 bit quickly but the hardware is so bad it won't run anything else properly unless we get internal emulators...right?
Even my Athlon X4 860K can run Dolphin constantly at 60FPS lolThat is a video from 2012, Dolphin has recieved insane amounts of performance improvements since. You could probably run Galaxy 2 on that same PC 60fps on today's Dolphin.
Because the Switch runs on the same architecture as the 3DS3DS doesn't run that well on PC, why would it run better on the Switch?
PS: It wouldn't.

Wrong. You're underrating the hardware a lot
Uhhh, what does a couple poorly optimized games have to do with anything? The Switch hardware is roughly around a shield, but lets be conservative and say it's like 1/5 weaker, which is almost for sure a huge underestimate. It would still run n64 easily, and if Dolphin got properly optimized for ARM and the Switch's graphics drivers, plenty of games would run in Dolphin. Keep in mind the lack of an Android overhead and the fact that Android has pretty bad graphics drivers overall. The fact that Dolphin runs decently on the Shield at all is a miracle.Overcooked. Lego City.
The psp has 333mhz processor and the n64 has 93.75mhz processor so it is kind of magic that it even runs that well. So you still think having the same architecture doesent help a lot.The PSP uses the same architecture as the N64, and yet N64 emulation is far from perfect on it. That doesn't mean it will magically work perfectly.
There is no way it could emulate wii u. Keep dreamingPersonally, I think up to Wii is a given.
