Also, please add support for the o3DS and NFC peripheral. Not all of us have n3DS systems and would love to use this.

New version with Old 3DS support is available. Could you give another test?
O3DS and O3DSXL
Latest Luma Hourly
External NFC reader from Nintendo

3dsx version through HBL -> Works perfect
CIA version installed with latest FBI -> Works perfect

Tip for O3DS (XL) users:
- Put your O3DS on a table and the NFC adaptor to, don't hold the console in your hand, it could result in a bad write (due to little movements of your hand)
- Don't go nuts cause the writing dots jump around instead of following each other up in a straight line, perfectly normal

@HiddenRambler
Thanks for the O3DS support, I would buy you a special Belgium beer if i could ;p (Where's the beer emoji???)

You can change the OP also

  • Support for OLD 3DS (seems to only work with CIA build)
It works perfect on the .3dsx build launched from HBL (HBL is installed as CIA)

It's always nice to have a few options to write your NFC tags :)
- Tagmo on my Android
- Thenaya on 3DS itself (incase my phone's battery is empty)
- AmiiBomb (once he sorts out the NFC tag detection for more NFC tags (like mine and others))

Good thing a few stupid people like me bought an NFC reader for the O3DS, in case i ever needed it, and now is the perfect time to have a reason to use it :)

Ow, 1 thing i would change:
- Change the color of the selected amiibo bin file, once selected you can barely read it

Rest don't need change, plain simple straight forward program, i like that

Works perfect, just tested created tags from your tool on a Switch. Thanks a lot.

Small suggestions for a future update:
The majority of the new dumps are going to be with the newly discovered extra data at the end of the file which makes it 572 bytes, but the currently know writing method is for 540 byte files.
Basically to trim 572 dumps down to 540.

The ones that I tested were like this and I trimmed them down myself. Honestly, it's not really something important since it can easily and quickly be done on the computer. Just if you feel like it.

Thats news to me. Could you give me any link to where they talk abou these extra bytes?
I've read about this in the amiibitz (N2) thread on that chaos site some time ago. And I'm seeing more and more amiiqo dumps which are 572 bytes.
I tried to find a thread on gbatemp who explained a bit about these, here is a link to it: Making Amiibo NTAG215s

So, op, if you can please make a part of the code check the size, and if its 572 then write all except last 32 and if its 540 or less then write as- is or something... shouldnt be super hard (I think I could make something like this for pc if needed..) please make this hb work on its own without need for pc or mobile...

Since I don't have an android device with NFC capabilities, I have been looking for an alternative.
I used the 0.3 cia version on my N3DS XL.
Dumping an amiibo to a bin file is really fast.
Writing an NFC tag takes some time, but it works perfectly. I have seen a tag being written using Tagmo on an android phone which took as long as reading a tag.
Thank you for this POC/Alpha. I would love to see it developed more.
