Why doesn't it overwrite my Pokemon Crystal save when I inject the edited save??? I know i'm doing everything right. Why will it extract but not inject?
I exported ave data from the jap Yoshis wooly world hoping it might work on the us version becasue of a black screen crash on jp ver.
Now I dont seem to be able to import or export any saves. I always get the "error opening save archive" message.
EDIT: I just updated the game list manually jk main menu and it worked!

can someone please explain how to get this on your 3ds without homebrew? i updated to 11.4 on old 3ds xl is there a way or do i need homebrew? and if so how can i get it?
Yes you need to have homebrew for the .3dsx of this to work. If your after the cia version you will need CFW on your 3ds. At this point old 3ds on 11.4 does not have any working entrypoints to get this to work. You would either need to have someone dsiware transfer your system with CFW or wait until the NTRboothax comes out and at that point would need one of the working flashcarts to get CFW. At this point, no, this will not work for you
Thank you i will wait or try to find someone lol. Can it be done wirelessly like from anyone? i have an old DSi would you be able to help me with getting the cfw on there and getting it to the 3ds?

It can be done with anyone who has a old 3ds with CFW already on it. Its a process where they system transfer a specific dsiware game and save over to yours which then runs that save and initializes the B9S process.
That makes sense =) i have an old Dslite would i be able to do something with an older game say heartgold and then transfer that to 3ds?
There are certain games from on the eshop that work with this. Right now transfering something like that from a dslite would not work
The game they do need to have legitly bought from the eshop and most run about $2 for the title.

So its possible i just have to do some research and figure out how to get the cfw from the dslite to my 3ds
okay cool so once i install the boot9strap i can transfer that over to the 3ds and get access to homebrew?
The second console should already have the B9S on it. and you would transfer that save over to set up B9S on the other 3ds system
Alright i appreciate ya dumbing this down for me lol so sum up: i got my old DSi, install one of those games on it from? Then that game should have the b9s and i would then create a save, and transfer that save file over to the 3ds? or do i need it on the 3ds first, then transfer it to dsi then create a save then transfer that save back? .. Still kinda new to this whole thing..

MS came out with the revised Series S with 1tb drive and dropped price on the 512gb model, I wonder when they gonna come with the revised Series X model, and will og Series X models price drop also? Debating on waiting to buy another, or make the move now.
