And some ungrateful people have the chuzpah to promote piracy in our thread when we're going out of our way to try and get people to buy this game - and it really deserves to be bought and needs the sales. It's like they're spitting in our face while we ask them to do the right thing. We're not on a crusade against piracy in general, because that's a battle no one can win - we're asking you to support a francise that needs it.
I'm gladly gonna buy it at some point or another, especially it if lets you play this translation.
It'll probably be when I know of another way to access Homebrew.

I'm sorry, the thread turned into a shitfest again and the mods are too busy pandering to teenagers with edgy political opionions or discuss the latest scene scandal to care about moderating this thread. Or they condone abusive language and piracy advice by the ilk of @Sinon or @Manurocker95 - I don't care anymore.

Ask your questions on Discord if you have any. Links are in the OP.
You know that we can't look at every thread 24/7, right? If you want a thread cleaned up you have to report it. We haven't got shitfest-detecting powers.

Thank you! Of couse you can't be everywhere, but I did report it right away.
Weird, I didn't find anything in the report section... I'll have a look.

EDIT: Nope, there is just 4 reports from you, and the last one is from yesterday, which I promptly looked at today. The others were for other threads. Looks like something went wrong on your part?

That's very weird, since I haven't reported anything in the last few days. And I'm positive I reported these posts right away. But thanks for investigating, I appreciate it.

Whoops, yeah, the "report search" is kinda weird, it actually looks for the user who has been reported, and not the other way around. Kinda counter-intuitive. We've found the reports now and we're looking into it.

Episode 1......?
GOD
CAN'T YOU PEOPLE WAIT?
The project isn't dead. It's being worked on. The team behind it have personal lives and do this as a hobby.
Just freaking wait. Go live life and appreciate the small things while you wait, until you forgot that a translation is being worked on, until someday you visit this thread and is surprised with a release.
Trust me, it'll be so much better this way.
There is a beautiful world outside, you just gotta believe.

For real. Stop harassing the dev team, take a chill pill, and wait like the rest of us.
Remember, for instance, the AAI2 translation took 3, almost 3 and a half years to happen. But it happened. It took time, because that's how these things work.
Even if the dev team were wizards at Japanese-English translation, and managed to translate every single bit of text almost immediately, they would still have to format that text back into a form that fits in the game's dialogue boxes, fix any bugs that might arise from forcing the game engine to do something it was never designed to do (display English text and graphics), typeset and reinsert any image-based text that might need to be changed (like images of newspapers or signs), proofread all the text, proofread it again...
You get the picture (I hope).
Also, they're literally not getting paid to do this. This isn't their job, or even a freelance hobby they make money off of. It's a passion project done out of love for the Ace Attorney series, and for Shu Takumi's storywriting (At least, I think so on the latter part lol).
So, seriously, just cool it.
Harassing the developers will get you literally nowhere. They're not magicians, they're not going to just conjure up a finished translation instantly.
And on top of that, everyone has a limit to their patience. Like, even the most patient, least vindictive people out there will start to push back, or get angry, or even spiteful, after being harassed and bothered for too long.

tl;dr just stop for petes sake

Lol, can't believe you got bashed like it's the end of the world for just a simple question when a simple answer like "Not done yet" should be enough.

"There is a beautiful world outside", that's the biggest joke I've ever heard.
Well, if you think being bashed like that is the "end of the world", the world outside can't be so terrible if that's the worse of it... also, we see things differently. If it's ok for you to be pessimist, so be it.

Look back some pages, he is one of the guys that is constantly asking about updates, even after @Uwabami saying that it will be done when it's done. Yet, he keeps asking.
That message was not only about him. It's to everyone who thinks this is a OK behavior when are people doing you a favor (in this case, translating the game).
Like @Roxie Mika said, even the most patient person will lose it eventually.

Now, this topic has enough off topic already to keep discussing this.

Even the people in charge here seem to be like this.
They can't take a joke, it's always a personal attack and you are awful to say anything but "this project is perfect and people should stop complaining". Some people are just too hot headed for the internet.

There's a difference between making a joke and being an ungrateful, entitled jerk. I'm not naming anyone here.

I never said this project is perfect, but I don't understand people complaining about it when we do it for free and don't owe anyone anything. And again, your ideas were neither new, good nor in time to be considered, as we are way beyond that stage (I explained that to you several times).

I don't mind people asking for it, but it's done when it's done and we'll tell you when we're ready to release it - so there's no real point in asking tbh...

Thanks for the support from the other people by the way, we really appreciate it and we hope to be able to deliver soon!

Okay, let me just point out something obvious. Whenever they have an update for this project, they'd update the OP. For example, you see the the release section? Do you see any word about a release date? No? Then they obviously have no idea when it will be released. If they did, it would be stated. For all that's holy, stop with the stupid questions and keep it clean. This thread doesn't need to be littered with pointless questions and arguments anymore than it already is.
