Thanks for the answer. I hope everything works well in the end.

Thanks for the answer. I will try it then and enjoy many more good and bad games.
It's cool that you can have the whole NES library on your NES mini, however the majority is utter crap so I don't really see the point of it. I will have difficulties to find 200 games that are worth playing. Maybe I will do eventually the same but I will have to define them in "Favorites" and "Crap" folders, otherwise it will get difficult to navigate through the GUI.

My NESC refuses to mod!

I have tried hakchi 2.11 several times. Dumped the kernel, and re-flashed with custom. 30 games per page. I have no issues modding other NESC's. But this one particular NESC will not mod!!

Help me out please. What do I need to do to get the extra
games on this stubborn system?

good nes games?

Yeah, no games that bring up errors. And the custom flash works fine on other NESC's. Just not this one!

Normally, when I flash a custom kernel and mod a system, I start of with the choose language screen. Not with this one. It just starts up with the main menu and shows the original 30 games. No change whatsoever.

Exactly. Even though a lot of the games aren't good, I get a kick out of having the entire USA NES library available to play. The completionist in me is always keeping the entire USA romset. ;)

I already know my faves, but there is a lot of them that I've never played before.

Have you tried in another folder extract hakchi2(name this new hakchi2 folder as nesito) First test(discard the games) to do this test only from your previous hakchi2 copy the folder name dump over folder name nesito
Then enter in nesito folder and open hakchi.exe
Disable one game from list of 30 NES originals.
Make flash process. If works ok and power on your mini and only have 29 games(If don't work, please give info about.). Copy your folder /game and file config.ini from your previous hakchi2 folder into nesito folder.
When open hakchi.exe you will see again your games list, enable the game of "30 original NES" that disable before and Try to flash again.

Rgs.

I'm curious, is it possible to extract the roms included in the NES Classic? It would be nice to use 'legit' versions of the games.
I think that a UART cable soldered into mini is necessary at the moment(i would like more to ccould extract save-states from hakchi2, like a backup feature) But maybe someone can tell us more info. EDIT: This someone is pcm720 that comes here before and confirms that only UART is the only way(and slow)

Yep what @nesito said I've had a similar issue before, always best to start from a clean slate, new folder everything, once you can flash one game copy the folders over

Here is a suggestion... not sure if you have tried this yet or not...

1: unzip the hakchi2 file to a new hakchi2 folder
2: open that hakchi2.exe
3: add the games to the list that you want added
4: download the covers
5: change any of the setting that you want ex: controller reset, autofire, etc
6: hook up the nes to the computer
7: turn the nes classics power on
8: after about 1 minute, turn the nes classic off
9: press the "synchronize selected games with the nes mini" button
10: follow the prompts

This should work as it treats it as a fresh install so you will dump your original kernal again as well as flash the custom kernal. A couple of times I had a similar issue and doing this did the trick... something about flashing the customer kernal just wasn't working as intended...

Hope this works for you.

A make this video to check the PCE emulation via RA core Mednafen PCE FAST
9 Great(maybe in some case only Technical) Games for PCE/TG-16 running on mini nes classic.

Please, enjoy!

Someone knows a PCE CD Rip (If exists) or homebrew CD game to test PCE CD?

Does RetroArch support MSX emulation ? To play Maze of Gallious and Vampire Killer would be so great, as MSX games use two buttons or less.
